One of my most played Oasis songs are She's Electric. Do not think its a great song, but whatever mood I'm in She's Electric is enjoyable. Don't know why.. I agree, it's just a very upbeat song. It gets played a lot on the radio here in Ireland. Reminds me of being back at school with my Walkman and oasis tapes running around trying to put buns in some ovens ;-) |

I've never understood why people hate HC production, its not like any oasis album (except sotsog) has been produced well.. Dont get the hate for SIL and AITM either
WTSMG is slightly overrated
oasis' worst songs imo are the twins: meaning of soul and muffins..
Oasis never ever matched DM ever
I really like Better Man, especially the outro, really like the cage as well
Noel once said oasis shouldve never put out SOTSOG and HC but instead combine the two (or something like that), i dont agree, they should have released sotsog, but combine HC and DBTT, wouldve made a much better album imo

Absolutely , in my book anyway ........here is the the best example I can give there both great songs in my top ten ......but if I wanted to introduce a non believer I would play live forever because it's got the perfect hook. " You and i are gonna live forever ". ... It's really perfect pop ( nothing wrong there ) But if I wanna reflect , or let loose in a bar , or get pumped before a footy match I want to " slide away ". It's more like a you and me against the world type lyric ....jmo |
