Extremely well said, I once put the entire Be here Now album, extremely loud and started shouting along with it at a party, just because some people made jokes about me being an Oasis fan Thank you man .i loved and supported oasis before they were hip while they were hip when they were not hip and while they are apart When I die I want to two songs played at my final gig. Champagne supernova So they'll know I was getting high. And in my time of dying. So when I'm lowered its will be to plant wailing "you can deliver me lower i was only trying to have some fun " No bullshit got my mom and nephew to swear to it and ill fucking haunt them if they don't They can't take me in life imagine a good haunt Edit : I should say til I'm someone else problem ...then ill haunt them Id haunt my family as well if they dont play oasis songs at my funeral , but im only 18 so i (hopefully) dont have to worry about that haha I've been supporting oasis since 2010, i live in holland and oasis arent famous at all here, i think liam could walk around in my town, and nobody would even bother to look his way, its that bad, but i dont mind, ive got all the oasis albums on cd (plan on getting the vinyl as well) and im loving them

This is for NGHFB but I love the sounds Mike Rowe makes with his piano, he adds so much to every song he plays on, especially Supersonic, Wonderwall, and Digsy's Dinner

The first few weeks of my fandom , thus was before MTV and I mostly istened to the radio, I thought the singer's name was Noel and the guitarist's was Liam.
Shameful.
Also, for a few weeks my brain could not conceive that all those incredible songs came from the pen of one man, so I assumed that 'written by Noel Gallagher' meant there was a team of background songwriters and proucers or something.
If anything that 1994-96 run of Noel's songwriting is even more mindblowing now, although I now know where he much of his influence came from, then it just seemed uncanny.

I used to think Liam sang all the songs, and couldn't work out why he sounded so different on 'The importance of being Idle'

I've never really liked Gem's tone. I appreciate the quality of his work but it just sounds too... I don't know... scrappy(?) to me. I can't really describe it.

Fade away's melody is one of Noel's best George Michael wrote the melody though

I'm not sure why but I have not yet pre-ordered "BE". I'm usually all over this type of stuff and couldn't be more excited to hear/own it.

1.Gas Panic! is, lyricaly, probably the best song Noel has ever written. 2. The only oasis albums I physically own are Definitely Maybe And Dig Out Your Soul, although I do have the Lord Don't Slow Me Down dvd Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

I like the Gallaghers a lot, but I don't really like their arrogance sometimes.

Listen Up is probably my favourite Liam vocal, it sounds real sincere, even painful at times.
All of my top 5 Oasis tracks are probably b-sides
I bloody love Wonderwall
After leaving school I've kind of resented Stay Young
I'm probably the one of the only people on here to not have a favourite Gallagher brother.

I like mixing some live performances with different vocals, to make the song even better

My friends used to think I listened to Oasis too much and drove them insane how I always played Definitely Maybe in the car. So even if I told them a song was good they wouldn't listen to it just because it was Oasis. I realized if Definitely Maybe is the only album they've heard alot from, then they only really know songs sung by Liam. I made a CD of Oasis songs sung by Noel, told them it was a different band, and what do you know, they are fans of Oasis and they don't even know it.

Also, I sometimes like Noel's versions of Listen Up more than Liam's.

don't know if I've said that before, but now I fucking love Digsy's dinner, specially Noel's version with HFB,love his way to say "lasagna" (Liams too,ok,but Noel's is better ) and love Mike Rowe's work in it My fav Liam's vocals are in Some Might Say I really like Noel's second voice in Songbird on the DOYS tour and I love the "combination" of Liam and Noel voices together (obvious captain? When I go to school in the morning I listen to Live Forever and Some might say cos I need the early Oasis and Liam's voice then I listen to DLBIA cos the power of the chorus and of Noel's voice it's good to start a day,but I listen the Itunes festival version when I come back I listen to EOTR and ASGOG...this happen every fucking day ahah I really like Noel as a person, don't know why,he seems interesting and he's funny, one of the funniest people that I've ever heard and I think he can be so sweet when he wants,so ok,stop

My husband just asked me if he should be worried about my Gallagher brother obsession.
(He is not a fan!)

Im probably the only one who doesnt care for Stop Crying Your Heart Out.
To me it's always just been a sappy pop song.
