Have you ever heard Patti Smith covering this song? It's on her cover album "Twelve" and she's done very well. A couple of years ago, someone shouted "White Rabbit!" during her gig at Paradiso. Patti didn't want to play, but her band started to play the intro, so she had no choice. She said "sh*t!" then played a few minutes of intro. Then she asked the guy who requested White Rabbit "are you happy now?" and the guy answered "Yeah!". Haven't heard it yet, interesting...will check it out... The last time I heard (or listened to) Patti was when my dad played her records when I was younger... Funny story by the way...LOL

I'd just like to say that I liked this post for Explosions in the Sky, and not for the Foo Fighters. Thanks.

Rage Against The Machine - Know Your Enemy
One of Rages defining songs for me, everything about it screams Rage.

Was only familiar with Bee Gees disco when I first started getting into them. Then I listened to their first album, learning that they weren't always disco. When I got to this song, I knew I was a major fan. Blew me away. Still does. Gives me chills. Robins vocals are so haunting.

It's been nearly 9 years since I heard this song for the first time and it's still brilliant.

Tame Impala's "Let It Happen". That song literally broke my old MacBook Pro.
