The day the studio version of this comes out (probably sometime in 2014!) will be a euphoric day.

I love the lyrics in this song, they are just too perfect. The melody is great. I feel very privileged to have heard it in person.

Just found that you can hear a 19 sec clip of the song on the album documentary! Check this video 1:10-1:27, there's definitely the "I keep on climbing but I can't get to the mountain" line there!

Dunno about "can't afford the bus fare line" bit clumsy

It's at the bit in the very beginning too.

Dunno about "can't afford the bus fare line" bit clumsy Completely disagree. That "can't afford the bus fare" line is the quintessential Oasis-line that really makes the song brilliant. Especially after that strong declaration of "gonna try my best to get there," it captures how difficult it is to take that 'first step.' It's also such a clever play on the lyrics from "Whatever." It's almost like that line expresses the maturity and disappointing realization that comes with growing older, whereas Whatever was shameless bravado and idealism (that's not a knock on the song, it's still terrific). Anyway, my point is, I love that line.
