EOTR is a great fucking song, no other way to put it.
Is it "amazing" lyrically speaking? no, but still, i love the song. It's the best thing on the album BY A MILE. Again.... it's no "Masterplan" or "Live Forever" but it's still awesome imo.
Broken Arrow..... i don't get what some of you are getting so worked up about. The song sounds like a less inspired version of POTQ, which btw i never really liked in the first place. It's ok, nothing more, nothing less. If you're into that, you'll love it. I consider it filler, and 2nd(some might say 3rd) rate.
Record Machine, solid song... nothing earth-shattering or fancy.
Dream On is actually a bit more my cup of tea. I really like the drums on this song. The vocals are cool too. really feeling this one, obviously. Lyrics are again.... just meh.
If i Had a Gun... we all like it, sure the production lets it down a bit and it does sound like a mix of Matt Kearney and The Backstreet Boys but i still like it so whatever.
TDOYAM is boring, i never liked it, sounds too much like TIOBI, everything that had to be said about the song has been said already so ... moving on.
AKA WAL, perhaps the worst song on the album. I understand what Noel was trying to do with this one but no-thanks, i'll pass. stick to what you do best. those are his own words, not mine. NEXT.
Soldier Boys and JFrks... I dig it. it's all a bunch of nonsense but i like the vibe and sound of it so there you go.
Stop The Clocks.... i like it, it's been around for a while and this is basically the same as the demo. The demo was pretty good, and so the same can be said for this song.
really like the lyrics.

Way too early to make any judgements/conclusions yet. Just finishing my first full listen now with the headphones with a 320kbps rip and it's sounding the absolute fucking bollocks!!!!!!! Well happy!!!

Wow. Best Oasis album since Be here now:) Maybe because it is overproduced or because all those melodies are all such fantastic... But this sounds once again like rock´n´roll... More in a way of a lifestyle than sound...
I love the trumpet in Jesus Freaks, monumentality of Everybody´s on the run, ending of Stop the clocks weird but soo catchy Dream on...
I just dont like Broken Arrow after first listen, reminds me of some Madonna song and I don´t really get the children in Record machine - it sounds like christmas carol!
