I hear more DBTT, but I can hear how they might think differently. After 30 sec. I don't really take anything away from it. But it was nice to get something after checking this forum every hour religiously for a couple of days.

I only listened to 'new' tracks I already know: that is: EOTR, RM and STC.
I really don't like the drums on EOTR, but that's probably because we don't have the whole picture.
RM and STC sound amazing, can't wait.
And I don't want to hear the rest ;-)

And I'm soo glad I did because it's all now this beautiful stream of melodies and I can't remember which is which really but I know im in for a treat.

I hate the way this record has been marketed. Dripping teasers, the odd song here and there, releasing the strings section of a track, which someone woefully tries to blend with a soundcheck. I won't buy this record. I'd buy it if they just stuck it on sale, without all this fannying about before hand, and it's not like it actually results in any more sales...
This was true of Oasis/BDI/NG - can't think of any other band who fuck about to this extent

Is it strange Stop The Clocks and Record Machine are the ones I'm least excited about......

Just been playing round with the tracks, and a filter reveals a choir backing up Noel on every word of Stop The Clocks, including the backing vocals. The full, high quality version should present some more depth to this. Audio - soundcloud.com/deadman9/stc-choral-mix-30-sec-clip

I listened to the clips twice, and that will be enough. As much as I enjoyed them and am looking forward to this, I must say I got more excited by the DGSS clips. But that said, I enjoy BDI and NGHFB equally. So none of this HFB >>>>>BDI for me.
If we were to get the official album in such little time I wouldnt have listened to the clips,b ut the way tracks, videos, and the album are being released in a 'geographically-specific' way makes me rather annoyed.
