Should I dare say better than If I Had A Gun...? No? Too soon? It just sounds like the production for Stop the Clocks is 100x better than IIHAG. Idk, maybe I've just heard IIHAG too much. :/ Loving the love for STC. |

Kinda crushed Noely's not going do STC live now. I think it would sound great in the 2, 3, 4 thousand seat venues he's going to be playing.
If he says it sounded like shit in rehearsals, I guess we have to take his word, but...I hope he reconsiders at some point.

Imagine if this was the first time we were hearing STC. True. I wouldn't have negative preconceived notions. I guess thats the bad part of being super fans, we could've experienced EOTR, IIHAG, RM, and STC all brand new. |

NL4E i'm actually glad I've heard rough versions of RM and STC beforehand otherwise I think I might have literally had a heart attack from the excitement. This way I'm prepared to calm down

I shall not be listening to the previews.
Though I am happy they have turned up. Hopefully these will tide people over until the album comes. This way we can get away from some of the childish antics around here.

The last time we got 30 second previews for an album, it leaked very shortly after. I remember DOYS was like a day later or so.
This sounds like a damn good album.

from the sample the drums on everybody's on the run sounds as though it's building upto something...obv ino its the intro anyway but hopefully come the full song itl branch off into a different sort of beat...alot of people are saying its mucky fingers like but i hear more of part of the queue in that beat! ....first impressions would have me thinking that i'm going to love both stop the clocks and stranded on the wrong beach but im not going to listen again until i can hear full versions |
