I know it's too quick to judge but I do have a feeling Peggy might be true about this being Noel's finest record yet. It's very refreshing to hear a good Noel-written album without Liam's vocals.

Listened to EOTR but sounds tinny compared to strings already on the website and them these strange banging noises. So stopped as I don't want the rough quality to ruin this for me. This time next week I'll be listening to 200 th.time anyway.

I love these and it's only 30 seconds. All of them sound stunning. I think I'm in love with Dream On it sounds like a huge singalong...not that others don't. This whole album has that feel to it. I can't wait to drop the needle onto this record.

Damn. I'm impressed with both.
To everyone who's heard the preview clips; there's been so much talk about Noel being influenced by the Kinks. What I wanna know is - how much Beatles stuff do you think is present?

I was just weirded out by all the reviews having ZERO mention of the Beatles presence in Noel's music. I mean, it's good that journalists are finally getting off the crutch, but as soon as they stopped mentioning the Beatles, they all went for the Kinks  |

I won't be surprised if STC is my favorite off the album... Just from the clip, that song has gone from, "Meh, it's good.. but kinda drags a bit" to "OMG! This is too good to be true!" That's how I feel about it right now. And it's not like I don't know what to expect from the full song. So yeah, I can't wait to hear the whole thing. Just my two cents...

The album's sound is epic. And from these 30 seconds it looks like the songs are there too. "Dream On" will be amazing live.
