Any1 noticed that it says they are avaible to buy on 8 november... thats today (atleast in europe) and day is changing to 8 november in USA like in 6 hours?

Funny, I liked 'AKA... Broken Arrow' the best and that's been the most divisive song from the reviews. Has a 'Part of the Queue' feel to it.

i cant believe I actually found thid - long time reader (had a prior name) i dont pos tmuch just a reader - actually was more excited by the BDI clips. WAL excites me the most but ill need to reserve judgement to full on songs - can prhaps we get webby or johnking to verify if these are odd clips choices based on the full songs? Im not sur ehow to ping their attn to this. IDEAS?

It appears to be from (SO) TWB.

EOTR sounds like it will be biblical. Dream On is Lyla mixed with She's Electric. RM is indeed more polished - like the strings. Soldier Boys has a Kinks feel. Like the groove on Beach. STC has a much deeper sound than the demo, this is a good thing.
Granted it's only 30 seconds. Don't want to read too much into the above, but it's looking promising.

I can confidently say I'm going to love this album now. Love or like the first 3 songs. Already know I'm going to love RM and EOTR and like or really like STC depending upon what the final minute sounds like. And from the sounds of it, I'm going to really dig Broken Arrow and Dream On.
That leaves SOTWB (intrigued), and SBAJF (not so intrigued). Even if those two songs are shit, that's a fucking class album.

That 30 second clip of STC is stunning. I fucking love what Noel did with it. It sounds full and complete now, unlike the whiny demo version.
I need this album now.

First off, I just gotta say that Stop the Clocks sounds beautiful... Noel really improved on that tune from the sound of it.
I'm surprised on how upbeat and groovy Broken Arrow is... I'm officially interested.
Yeah, Record Machine sounds basically the same, but it obviously does sound more complete now. We all know what to expect from it...
Even though we don't really get a taste of the chorus from Dream On in the preview, you can tell how catchy it could be based on the lyrics we know of. BTW, and so apparently the "explicit" word is indeed "shit"... Should've known.
Everybody's On The Run sounds massive just from the intro... Single, anyone?
I'm not really flattered by Soldier Boys... Based on the preview, it kind of gets shadowed by Dream On, IMO.
And I'm really digging The Wrong Beach. Sounds more left field than What A Life!, IMO.
So just based on the previews, it sounds like it'll be a great album. But I don't wanna get TOO ahead of myself because I thought the same of Dig Out Your Soul by listening to the preview clips and it left me disappointed. But so far, it mostly all sounds great! I can't stop listening to the Stop the Clocks clip. I'm completely mesmerized by it right now!...

EOTR drums sound fucking awful Please. The quality of these clips are so poor. I even broke out my good Bose headphones for this, and it's still poor. Let's wait until we get a crystal clear recording, eh? |
