There is no guitar solo, just an extended outro and more 'Woohoos'

Ha, and I was just about to say the intro would be longer cause the radio edit seemed to start abruptly. It is slightly longer, but not the entire 30 seconds. Yeah the rest is just an extended outro though. No solo. Quite disappointing.

The longer outro is better because the song ends better and not just all of a sudden. Think it could have been better but it's not terrible. It'll be great live.

Radar guy must have been completely drunk by the time WAL came on. What guitar solo was he hearing.
But on a full listen, I like it much better. Sounds much more layered in a full version. Not a plodding and not just a dance track. Very layered. Still wish that more had been done with that bridge though. I think if something could have been done there, it would be one his best songs in the last 10 years. Without it, it's a very good song.

People overreacted with the clip from the shitty advert. It's (in all honesty, and it pains me to say it) fucking wank.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say that this song is gonna be better in the context of the album. right now still too early to give final judgement but high quality version is tasty with those drums.

The new songs are great, but Noel is lacking some big bridges or an epic unexpected melody at the end of some song if he really wants a big single. Everything sounds really good, but the three songs are lacking complexity

official song even better, little longer at end, very catchy song, really is growing as a songwriter.

It has gotten better me the more I've listened to it. I think the initial shock that there was really nothing more than what we already heard made me really dislike it at first, but it's a bit better after just being able to listen to it for what it is.

tbh, i dont think i guitar solo would suit the song..
and as for Noel saying there was no guitar solo until track 6, he also said he started recording the album "not last year, maybe the year before" hes always wrong with numbers..

completely disagree with anyone who says these songs need anything else, that they lack, is crazy

The new songs are great, but Noel is lacking some big bridges or an epic melody at the end of some songs if he really wants to break. Everything sounds really good, but the three songs are lacking complexity I think he maybe saving the more complex songs such as RM and EOTR, and using the more simplistic pop stuff for singles. I mean we know that there are more complex songs on there. It's just that none of them have been singles so far.

For me...
Pro's: It's a good song should be really good live. I like the Dance drums & Bass line. THE LYRICS! It will get Radio play & appeal to the masses. It's catchy. I have heard it twice now & can't get it out my head!
Cons: No Guitar solo?! I agree it could get boring easily based on the structure. It doesnt really go anywhere. The Woohoo's.
The Pro's outweigh the Cons overall :-)

That guitar at 1.10 is begging to be developed and brought back into the song later.

Like it but Noel's better at writing the anthems and ballads. IIHAG and TDOYAM are more appealing to me.

The melodic structuring is actually very good, and probably one of his better structurings in a long time.

I do like it though. And it does get better with repeated listens. But it has nothing on IIHAG, which is a Noel classic.
Still needs a guitar solo. Really do wish Noel didn't get scared of them post-BHN.
