It really is so average, it's the same thing all the way through. I can see why it's a single though, got the potential to be radio friendly and 'down with the kids' who like all that shite sort of shitey shite.

It would be a good song if the void is filled in the middle with a guitar solo. I'm hoping that's the case, and I'm hoping the radio edit theory (which is being postulated in the other thread) holds true.
If not, then it's a song that sounds good but offers very little satisfaction.

if this was a coldplay track I would hate it with a passion, just like every teardrop, a flat produced very average synthesiser pop tune

Something is starting to bother me: the three songs we know from the album are too simple structure wise. Just verse-chorus-verse-chorus etc. The other two worked quite well, but this one not: he needs bridges, he needs more complex songs, or the album will end up being too simplistic

I think it's great. I love the sound and overall vibe. Did anyone time it by chance? It seemed shorter than 4:24 but maybe i'm wrong. There was definitely not a guitar solo in there either. Yeah somebody in the other thread said it was a radio edit. I guess it ran about 3:50. Ahhh...perhaps the guitar solo is hidden in those remaining 30 seconds.

I can see this as a B-side. My least favorite track so far I think. Gimme TGR over this.

Who cares about a guitar solo? It's hardly gonna massively change your opinion.

I get the feeling that a lot of fans (including me I must say!) only think the song is interesting because it's different to other Noel songs. If this song was written by another artist I think most of us wouldn't even like/want to listen to it!

So was Noel when he wrote it. Big disappointment, thought this would be my favourite easily. Could have been a monster.

Absolutely brilliant. He's done it again!!! That a smokescreen? I imagine you're actually quite embarrassed. That 'drop' you thought was going to happen never happened did it.

terrific song, don't care about no guitar solo, find guitar solo's boring most of the time, love how up tempo this song is. best of 4 so far.

Well it did and I'm sure the full version will show more. I don't give a shit what you say or think anyway. You have consistently shown that you are a miserable, negative little cretin that doesn't like anything. I feel sorry for people like you.

very dated. verrrryyyy Charlatans. Suffered from Noel's own hyping I think. Hardly a 'dance' track, certainly nowhere near contemporary compared to "Setting Sun" or even "Let Forever Be" when they came out. Nowhere near 'Begging You' let alone "Fool's Gold". very disapointing. At least we can't say "would've sounded better with Liam singing" as he obviously wouldn't have

Ive just also timed it and its about 30 seconds shorter than the time its meant to be. I remember Noel saying that a guitar solo doesnt happen until track 6. I think this is track 6, isnt it?? So those 30 seconds that have been edited out may have a solo in?? I like it!

Youtube version, but not the official one. There's still hope the one they put up later will the the album version. this proves it was a radio Edit. The album version (according to amazon) is 4:24, while this version is only 3:49. There might still be hope for a guitar solo!
