It's like Noel is trying to copy Coldplay, but I still like it. Can't wait to hear the lossless version.

Favourite bits: The backup vocals in the 2nd verse The drums in the 2nd verse Highlight: 2nd verse ;D Agreed deasy-peasy. The 2nd verse is great, tied with the tiger line as my favorite part of the song.

Is there a choir in there? I swear I hear "Aaaaahhhhs" in the background starting at around 2.20
I think there's a lot of hidden musical components at play here if you listen closely.....

I will say this, this songs shows how high my(all our) expectations are for Noel.
I get the feeling that if Beady Eye had released this, many (including me) would be elated with the new direction that they were taking, and how they were stretching themselves. But with Noel, it seems like disappointment.
It's interesting how standards change for one particular artist or another change.

Just had three listens in a row, and . . .
While the song is simplistic, it rocks out a lot more than I thought anything would on this album. The riff between the first chorus and the second verse is quite nicely placed there. Love it. The stomping beat is much more enjoyable than many late Oasis tunes (i.e. TMOS)
This tune is for the marketing department of the management. It's meant to bring in the kids who are looking for this out of their bands these days. No big deal. Still a jam!
Can't wait for the video actually!
Blame Dance Piano!

This is a decent enough tune and I love the "What a liiiiiiiiife" line.
But again, the song doesnt go anywhere for me. Doesn't seem to be any inspiration in these songs.

I have just listened to the whole track and I love it, I didn't know what to expect but think it's an interesting direction for Noel to go in! Its got me wondering if Noel will be coming on stage with some White gloves and glow sticks.....

The version on the Advert is toned down a lot compared to this version. Almost a totally different sound really. Much more tame.
I prefer this new version. Love it.

I like it Its not brilliant by any means, but I like the new direction. It would have fit DOYS brilliantly. Does the melody remind anyone else of Arcade Fire - Power Out?

Sorry to break it to you guys, but if the album is gonna be like these 3 songs its gonna be BORING! DGSS is better so far. Don't be silly. So far these 3 songs are nothing special. Just re-heats of other songs: TDOYAM= TIOBI IIHAG= Sounds lie Im outta time to me. "if I had a gun..." = "If i'm to fall..." AKA.. wal = Sounds like any Kasabian song. The songs are Ok but nothing to be going crazy about. Let's wait for the whole album. So far I'm not impressed. I could live without these songs. I've always been glad Noel and Liam didn't stop making music after their great years because even though no album will any be as good as the first 4 ( including The Masterplan ) they still made great songs like Go let it out, Stop Crying your Hert OUt, Songbird, TIOBI, LEt there be love, etc.. etc.. Each and everyone of those songs are songs I couldn't live without and so far Beady Eye and Noel have not made any song at that level. I have to say Beady Eye is getting closer than Noel so far. Even Beady Eye's B-sides are better and you know it!

For some reasons I love the lyrics. Definitely no guitar solos, which quite annoys me! Overall nice song, the vibe The ending really bums me though :\

The lyrics are fucking gash. For those who say Noel is the best songwriter of our generation, I have four words for you...
