Really surprised by the lyrics "I've got titties like a woman". Didn't expect that at all.

Why are they playing 'The Importance of Being Idle"? I thought we were going to hear a new song.

really don't like it. i think its evident that the backing track we heard on the video trailer isn't from that song.

So I guess the music in the TDOYAM teaser video is from a different song on the album. I wonder which one it can be...
Digging the single though. Very very different.

I love it. Just like BTL is not at all like Oasis, unlike BTL it is really, really good. Distinct melody, brass solo (!!!), great voice, great lyrics. Just wondering what the music from that trailer was. Maybe the Good Rebel?

I like it. It's reminiscent of TIOBI. I love that tune. Glad with the direction he went.
I like the guitars. The brass sounds cool. I like the melody. I am excited to see the video!
Chorus wasn't as big as I was expecting

noel has lost it imo. its a nice song but tiobi is a different class and this one is pretty lame. no hookline, nothing special. utter bullshit after 3 years.

I don't know, really. It's a great and catchy tune. The brass sounds like something from The Sgt. Pepper. I don't wanna be this negative, but. That's my first impression of the song. I was more thrilled by Four Letter Word. But I hope The Death Of You And Me will grow on me.

ok after a few listens, like the verse but the chorus was a let down. was hoping the music in the trailor would be from the song.
it does sound a bit to much like being idle and i wasnt a big fan of that. oh well lets see if it grows after time.

Hate to say it but Four Letter Word and the Roller with proper promotion would have been better lead off singles. It's a decent tune but it's somewhere between TIOBI and GOYHHB, as his fist single you'd have hoped it would be closer to the former when it's probably nearer the latter.

It's alright for me - at first I thought it's a second rate TIOBI (which is one of my favourite Oasis songs, anyway). I don't really like the verses, but the brass section (and the whole arrangement) is very good. Between 6/10-7/10 on first listen. Something like this. Potential grower.

it's just classic Noel fucking Gallagher. His melodies are second to none I mean who even thinks of these melodies? They just soar above the chords. This is what i wanted from Noel. It's a bit odd, its kinda groovin, kinda western, kinda jazzy, and that chorus pop stomp A soaring melody. It's sgt pepper mixed with Magical Mystery Tour but its so Noel. Its similar to TIOBI but its got its own twist. It's better than anything Beady Eye has put out. A summer day dream.
