early this afternoon Laura Marling's "A Creature I Don't Know" was streaming in a brazlian site. I got to listen to it and it is simply brilliant. bummer when I got home a little later it was already taken down.

"The Sifters" from his live album "Fingerlings 4" is incredible, and still yet to be released in studio form! Check this out: Same show I was at, but I was on the second level. One of the most breath taking moments of one of my favorite concerts last year. I'm praying for a studio release of this tune in the near future; hearing it in that kind of setting on a cold December night was absolutely perfect. The man is an absolute genius. Just read that his new album will be released early next year: www.twentyfourbit.com/post/9091864790/andrew-bird-scores-norman-preps-new-album-for-2012

Really enjoyed Hard-Fi's new album, anyone else heard it? How does it rate with their previous two albums. Dunno about anyone else but I thought their second album was really good.

Really enjoyed Hard-Fi's new album, anyone else heard it? How does it rate with their previous two albums. Dunno about anyone else but I thought their second album was really good. It's solid. They went more dance than rock, though. Too many of the tracks are samey. That being said, there are a few good ones on there. I particularly like Good For Nothing, and Feels Good The chorus of Bring It On reminds me of T. Rex's Bang a Gong (Get It On). Give It Up, and Stop are solid, too. AllMusic really liked it: allmusic.com/album/killer-sounds-r2243958/review

It's sad... Your tast are only around pop rock bands....and mainstream rock bands... Beady Eye (for example) as your best album for 2011 is just a joke...

Enjoyed John Martyn's album, some of the songs reminded me a bit of 90's Weller, in a strange way. Anyone else heard it?

I'm not only telling you this, but in general, I love music, all kinds of good music and I think I'm quite open for new bands. Past years have been great music years for me. I've discoverd a lot of new bands, new music and I hope it will continue. Good music will never die.
