After five (six?) years, The Rapture are finally releasing their third album! There's a new tune on their website: www.therapturemusic.com/Pretty fantastic stuff, looks like it's gonna give the best dance/rock record of the year so far, Zonoscope by Cut Copy, some competition!

Yes has released their first album in 10 years, and it's shit. It's my fault really for expecting Close To The Edge pt.2 The new Horrors album, Skying, leaked today. Definitely album of the year contendor. I've been looking for it since last night but couldn't find it anywhere Oh well, 4 more days of waiting aren't going to kill me I guess.

I'm really looking forward to the new Healers album. Me too, not sure how similar it will be to the previous one though as that was ages ago, plus I think he is recruiting different Healers for this one

Johnny took all the vocals and the whole album had quite heavy sound. Since that album was released, Johnny played with Modest Mouse and The Cribs, so I'm really curious how the new one sound like.

If you all want a fantastic psychedelic record, check out Unknown Mortal Orchestra's debut album.

let's look at the fall and winter of 2011, for me the most important albums are still to come:
Tom Waits (2011?) Matthew Santos Noel Gallagher Andrew Bird (2011?) Pearl Jam (2011?)

Andrew Bird played some of the new stuff he is/was working on when I saw him last december. We're in for something really special if he decides to use those songs, they were some of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard.

One of the most breath taking moments of one of my favorite concerts last year. I'm praying for a studio release of this tune in the near future; hearing it in that kind of setting on a cold December night was absolutely perfect. The man is an absolute genius.

Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks-Mirror Traffic
It seriously blew my mind. Such an amazing song writer. From 1991 to present he still challenges structure of indie pop rock songs.
