D'You Know What I Mean- I always put it on before County and National Comps for my running, pumps me up and boosts confidence before practically any stressful situation.
Do you think Liam did more harm than good? a la Little James instead of Let's all make believe, erratic and abrasive behaviour etc...

No, I think his voice (in the nineties and on the record) indemnifies the harm. It was SO special and good...
Which Oasis song has made you cry?

Who put the weight of the world on my shoulders and Stop crying your heart out. Not necessarily cos of the lyrics or whatever but cos of the time it was played...
Do you honestly believe that there will be another collaboration with the brothers Gallagher in future?

Yes, of course there will! I even see a few more albums somewhere down the line. I honestly believe that these new projects to the Gallagher bros will do them very good. At least Noel obviousley need to get this solo album of his shoulders.
Ok, a bit standard question. What's your favorite Oasis album, and why?

Changes a lot to be honest, but as I'm in a great mood because its friday i'm gonna go with Be Here Now. Why do I like it? Because its completely bonkers!
Who is the biggest Oasis obsessive on the forum? (I mean that in a good way)

Everyone I think every Oasis fan tends to think there the biggest fan on the planet. What is your earliest memory of the band/music?

Driving around town with my Dad in a Red VW Golf MKII in the mid nineties listening to Hello and Roll With It. I used to love the shit from your shoe line haha! He got me into the band with that old tape. I had a few years out of the band listening to some horrific shite (now I look back) then got into them properly when STC came out.
What's the most outlandish/special piece of Oasis memorabilia you posses? (Mine is either my signed Live Forever picture or my 6x4 framed picture of all the Time Flies postcards. Looks epic. I'll see if I can get a picture later if anyone's interested)

Morning Glory xD Really gets me going. It makes my getting ready to go out slower, cause instead of being in the bathroom I'm in my room listening to the song pretending to be choosing what to wear just so I can listen to it a bit longer. Always gets me late.
Are you known to your friends as "the one that listens to Oasis"? (I am xD) Has anyone of your friends started listening to Oasis because of you?

Yeah, because nobody else really listens to them. I got my mate into Oasis..she bought STC and then I made her a self made CD with a lot of album tracks and b-sides to give her a true indication of them.
Despite all that has been said, do you see Beady Eye doing any Oasis songs during their set lists?

Yeah, I'm sure they will play Oasis tunes that were written by Liam, Gem and Andy.
British rockstars like Bono, Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger have been knighted by the Queen of England. Do you think Noel or Liam will be knighted in the future, or at least be offered knighthood (for example David Bowie refused knighthood)?

i can see noel being offered it in the future (and maybe liam) ,, but i would HOPE he/they would turn it down... accepting knighthood would go against EVERYTHING oasis has ever stood for. is 'listen up' the greatest oasis song ever?

Are you known to your friends as "the one that listens to Oasis"? (I am xD) hahaha I know extactly what you're talking about. My nickname used to be 'marcosoasis' here in the forum because that was like my friends called me when I became an oasis fan in the first place haha. Listen Up is not the greatest Oasis song, but it's definitely on my top 10 (my top 10 oasis songs must have 60 songs lol) Have you ever been in love with someone you met through Oasis?

Going to the City of Manchester Stadium for my 2nd ever Oasis gig. This is due to the people I was with. Made it so much more the better experience.
What's the wierdest TV programme you have heard an Oasis song on?

CSI Miami - Not really weird, but The Masterplan was used at the end of one episode - really cool seeing as its an American show.
Have Oasis inspired you to do something?

which oasis song describes you the best?

This is a tough one but I'll say the song "Whatever" because it really speaks to me. Ever since I heard this song the first time it has made me who I am. If you knew me you would know that I speak my mind and I don't follow people. I'm free to be whatever I want to be.
Who do you think will have a more successful solo career? Noel or Beady Eye?

Post by gdforever on Aug 6, 2010 22:29:01 GMT -5
Depends on what you mean by success. I think that Beady Eye will have more monetary success. I think that Noel will have more critical success.
Seeing as the Gallagher are very opinionated blokes, do you think that the opinions of Noel and Liam have ever changed your own?
|

Post by bonkers on Aug 7, 2010 6:17:20 GMT -5
NO not changed them as most of what they talk is gibberish anyway!!
Have you ever pretended to sing like Liam in your bedroom, i mean the way he used to stand??

Yeah all the time, and not just in my bedroom. I often get control of the iPod at a party, chuck on Live Forever, and end up getting glared at by people who just don't get it.
Whose your favourite non-Gallagher band member to have ever been in Oasis?

Gem. He seems like a really nice guy, and play the guitar really good. And have a cool haircut.
Your favorite of Noels guitars?

The union jack guitar he used at Maine Road in 96, it was iconic and it was at the hieght of their fame. What's the one Oasis song you always forget about until you hear it? (for me, it would be Going Nowhere. Mainly on the Stand By Me single, pruely because it comes at the end of the lead single and the b-sides of (I Got) The Fever and My Sister Lover. It just feels so nice and out of place on there )
