Can't wait to play against nuestros hermanos, it won't be easy but it's always fun. Why England always appoints foreign club coaches is beyond me. The FA appoints these foreign coaches only because of the fact that they coached big clubs, which is something entirely different than coaching a national team. Further more, you need someone who understands the English culture and, more importantly, someone who can actually SPEAK ENGLISH.
Of course, there's the McClaren debacle, but England (as a football nation!) having a foreign coach is an embarrassment in itself. With all respect to African countries, but England is not some obscure African nation which is in need of football know-how!

Trouble is we dont have a massive load of players to choose from thanks to people like Wenger who are quite happy to play an entire squad of non English players. There just isnt enough English talent coming through the ranks.

That's the sacrifice England has to make for having a great premier league. I would rather have a limit on foreign players (like only 2 foreign players allowed in the starting 11), because other leagues (including the Dutch  ) are totally destroyed. Ajax, PSV or Feyenoord will never play a role of any importance anymore if this continues, they constantly have to sell their best players. Btw, Argentina and Germany already meet in the quarter finals |
