well they got almost the same team that won the world cup and they were already old back then so it makes senses that italy is out but not in this lame way.

Could someone please tell me how Italy managed to stumble? What a match! Hail to our boys, we were far far better almost all match long. Incredible evening for Slovakia team, Italy seemed sleepy and helpless. Now we face Holland. |

Can't wait to play against nuestros hermanos, it won't be easy but it's always fun.
I hope it's a little bit more exciting than the last game, though, which was pretty lame, really...

the england-germany match was unexpected, to say the least. the germans played well, but this game is more about the english collapse in the second half.

that disallowed goal was as bad a call as the two called off american goals, but the english seemed to just give up after that. it was as if they became so deflated that they thought the game was a lost cause and wasn't worth trying anymore.

I fucking hate being an England fan, that's just plain embarrassing defending.
Hopefully just because England have been comfortably beaten doesn't mean fifa brush the goalline technology issue under the carpet, it needs to happen.
