L O S E RThat shows you know nothing about football. The pass prior to the goal was cut by your defender and the pass that led to Iniesta's goal was not offside. The referee was a prick because Van Bommel and De Jong should have seen the red card for playing karate instead of football. 720 millon people saw the rubbish football that you played. Have a good night, we are the world cup champions and you and your national team are bad losers. Location: Barcelona? You're not even proper Spanish. Suddenly 'feel' Spanish when they win?Anyway, the best team won. Spain deserved to win this match. However I still feel Germany should have won the World Cup, they were the only ones who played in an exciting way. I hate that kind of people so much Anyways, yes, that karate kick could and should have been red. Even tho i dont believe it was on purpose. Still I think that the ref missed alot on crucial moments, Iniesta with the hitting move on van Bommel (should have been red aswell), the swing from Puyol on Robben after he broke through. Given, Robben had two major chances that he missed. But the attack that led to the goal of Spain shouldnt even have been there, as the Netherlands should have been taking a corner that wasnt assigned. Spain won the world cup, congrats for that, but i still dont think they deserve it.

Congrats to Spain and I'm pleased for you, chano.
It was't the best World Cup final. Both teams had a tough time during the match.
I'm not proud of those yellow cards and one red card. They deserved to get them.
Peace guys and show respect to each other. You don't have to insult each other, at least not on here. Thanks.

Such a bad player who can't measure where he's going to put his foot can't be a part of a world cup champion team. A team whose only purpose was to destroy spain's game with dirty tackles (as everybody else on this forum saw). And Robben didn't miss his chances, it's just that he had probably the best goalkeeper inthe world in front of him along with Julio Cesar. Anyway, just look at the game statistics and you'll find why just the dutch think that we didn't deserved this cup. Spain was better overall. And for that vagina that says that people from Barcelona is not properly spanish I just have to say that ignorance is bliss, poor stupid. I'm not even catalan. And anyway the majority of people from Barcelona and Catalunya are and feel very spanish. Travel a bit and open your midn before speaking or go back to school, it will be good for you.

He did, he waited waaay to long. He shouldve taken a shot at goal earlyer instead of trying to surpass the keeper. As for the dirty playing, spain is just as bad. All they do is try to book out some yellow cards for the opponent. Fair Play Award, more like Schwalbe König award.

I didn't want Spain to win before the game started, but after watching the negative and brutal way that Holland went about the first half I changed my mind completely. It was cynical, horrible to watch and a bad example to any youngsters watching. There is a difference between being physical and being violent. Holland didn't deserve it. And I thought the ref did extreamly well under very difficult conditions, I don't think you can blame him. Have a word instead with Robben for missing an absolute sitter.

the ref was awful. he gave warnings to "some" players, ignored quite a few things but to any other player with less of a name it was a yellow card. not to mention De Jong's criminal kick.
anyway, it wasn't a good match, but Spain was the most regular team of the championship, so congrats.

The ref didn't see the kick properly as there was a player in front of him. I think its rediculous to think he gave out cards based on names. He tried to maintain the integrity of the game, which was made very hard for him by the type of football the dutch went out to play. If he had sent off two or three players befor half-time everyone would have blamed him for ruining the final early on. He can't win to be honest.

Robben threw the ball away when he already had a yellow card and Webb ignored that. 10 minutes later a spanish player (don't remember who) did the same and he got booked. there was a dubious foul that could have been a penalty for Spain. Iniesta's outburst - agression without the ball. I'm just saying... he was awful for both teams. in general it was a terrible WC for refs, too many errors. and big ones

We can't complain about the ref, seeing that he didn't send off De Jong immediately. However, in a lot of other situations the Spanish players were very eager to go down, which I find an almost equal disgrace.
In the end, only Germany and - to a lesser extent - Uruguay were the only colourful nations. Chapeau to them, but for the rest, it was a lousy WC!

It just annoy's me that people blame the ref because its easy. Rather than blaming the team that actually set the tone of the football being played which was the dutch.

Whata about the man behind Alonso? I didn't say he didn't anything I said he didn't see it properly. Also be reading some other profesional refs saying that he was unsighted.

Thanks. thanks mimmitje the referee was shit. it wouldn't have been his fault if Holland had got 2 or 3 red cars, it would have been Dutch players' fault for playing that way Barcelona, and the rest of Spain, went out to celebrate. and there were some thousands people out that night... If Robben wouldn't have continued running, it would have been red car for Puyol. But he did, and he got what his team deserved: the best save of the tournament. Now we can laugh at english tabloids talking about Casillas and his girlfriend imo most of neutral viewers wanted Spain to win after watching the first half. we put the football, Netherlands the violence, once and again and again... Iniesta just hit Van Bommel with the hip. And he jumped as if he had been kicked on the back. that was not red card, specially after watching some dutch kicks. anyways, this is over. and we got the cup España, campeona del mundo
