first off i live in nyc, and i do not mind paying a pretty penny for a nice shirt, or a designer piece of clothing. i was excited for this line of clothing but god oh mighty. first off, its not a line of clothing, its over priced shirts with a logo on it. 40 pounds for an effing t-shirt with a logo on it, and then 245 for a jacket. ? 245 for a jacket?
PRETTY GREEN IS WHAT HE WILL BE MAKING.

I liked the clothes. You have an opinion and a right to express it. I have the right to tell you to fuck off, $40.00 for a t-shirt is high but if you really like designer clothes than you know that price is accurate.
I think your just pissed because you can't afford any of it. Guess what neither can I but I'm man enough to admit it.

Just buy a plain white tee shirt, print the logo out on some transfer paper. Iron the logo. And you're sorted.
Tootal Scarves are exactly the same as Pretty Greens without the logo, which ruins em. You can get them for 30 quid a go.
M65 Parka for the one size fits all coat. Usually 60-70 pounds.
It was a good try but sticking his logo on cheap, easily attainable items is awful.

like is that the whole line too? if so, i lose a lot of respect for liam, its a weak effort at making money, after all the shit he talked about this clothing line, its a tshirt, polo, scarf, with a gay logo on it?

I don't think it is the whole line, he promised hats, desert boots etc, at least that's what I saw in the sketches on the community section of the website.

im with njoasis on this one.
What Liam's doing is very tacky, and unless he improves the quality and/or decreases the prices, this will remain a gimmick destined to fail.
Sort it Liam.

effing bankrobber. i understand the price of designer clothing, like i said 120$ for a tshirt in soho nyc is the norm. however the tshirts are actually unique and designer clothing. all he has done is put a logo on a tshirt. thats not designer, thats rip off

It's not really designer is it? It's just some singer has put a patch on a polo shirt.

Yeah i will agree, more often you are just paying the extra notes for the name of the brand, but the quality is normally better.

I would say £40 is standard for a decent designer polo top, £60-70 for Ralph Lauren and the like, but they are very good gear. Pretty Green is shite.
I have no qualms whatsoever about paying for the quality, but Pretty Green is rubbish. The only decent thing there is the white sports jacket but £125 for that? You can get exactly the same in Lyle and Scott (which granted is awful nowadays) for £70.

I wanted to check out the clothes, but the site's crashed. Ha!
It's a cliche, but it's true: you get what you pay for.
If you buy something mass assembled in a sweatshop from slave-produced cotton, then dipped in a vat of industrial dye, and add some plastic buttons - it will be cheap.
If you buy something hand sown or tailored, stiched together with back-combed angorra ear hair, and mother of pearl buttons - it will be expensive.
Sometimes those details are very noticible, sometimes you have to look for them. But details like that are typically why "designer" clothes are more expensive.
And - like anything, if you don't notice or care about those details - you definitely shouldn't be paying for them!
And if it's cheap clothes with a designer label slapped on - that probably means you bought it out of the back of someones car.

Very disappointed in the clothes. I was expecting some cool shirts and instead everything is very plain. Can't be the entire line....

dont get me wrong the range is somewhat lacklustre and bland
but i think the quality of fabric has to be good, otherwise it couldnt justify the price
I've bought t-shirts and polos for the same sort of price and blandness, but the quality is superb, hopefully these will be the same

You won't know whether the clothes truly represent value for money until you wear them.
