Well for that to happen you would have to prove that your point was true.
And you can't do that.
So I don't need to disprove anything.

With designer gear you pay extra for 3 things - a) the design, b) the quality, c) the logo. A) The Pretty Green designs are quite basic and boring, there is nothing to separate them from your average Fruit of the Loom band t-shirt. I really like the white tracksuit top, but there's been no thought whatsoever gone into the rest. B) Saw a Pretty Green t-shirt in the flesh yesterday. The material looked decent - not bad but nothing to really write home about, and certainly not worth the money. C) The Lyle and Scott eagle, All Saints logo (whatever the fuck its meant to be), Ralph Lauren horseman, etc, are instantly recognisable. Pretty Green isn't. Nobody will think "Aye thats cool" for wearing it, they'll just think you're wearing a band t-shirt.

However, there's been a bit of thought gone into every one of them, which is fair play imo. Can you honestly say the same about the Pretty Green? One generic t-shirt in different colours, one generic polo top in different colours, one generic jumper in different colours, etc. If those were launched as part of a wider collection with a number of different designs then fair enough. But I don't see the point in launching with just one design, first impressions stick and the first collection seems a bit rushed. I just think it's been a bit of a let down. Liam is quite stylish but there is nothing there that stands out. The shoes Ian Brown designer for Adidas were much better than anything there.

You're fools if you're gonna spend 40 pounds on a plain t-shirt with a logo on it!
they're making SO much profit off of it, its basically thievery.
None of this is designer.
Sure, the jackets look cool - but for 125 pounds (~$200)? FUCK. THAT. SHIT.
Unless he lowers his prices or increases the quality of the product, this is gonna end in an epic fail.
As it stands now - stick to singing, Liam.

WHO the fuck spends that much money on those types of shirts? If there's people out there that do, then I agree - you're either stupid or stupidly rich. WTF You have realized those shirts cost probably like $5-10 to make, what a rip off

This shit is a rip off. I wasn't planning on buying a jacket or anything cause I knew that would be out of my price range so I just thought, hell I'll buy a T-shirt for the hell of it. But then I saw how fucking expensive even a plain T-shirt is, 40 pounds!. Fuck that.
And I agree Liam needs to ditch the garbage bag. For one thing it's summer, you don't need to be wearing a fucking parka. And for another, the jacket would look MUCH cooler on stage. Especially the white one I think.

How can a shirt or jacket that is mass-produced be designer, there are thousands of them, it would be like buying from Primark. Anybody here considered how little the people in China were paid to produce this over-rated line?

You can't blame Liam for charging an arm and a leg for his designer shite, we all know the fanboys will be mad fer it! A.) He's rich as fuck, he doesn't need any more money! B.) In the mid-90s they represented both the youth and working class, which are not known for their wealth, so why charge so fucking much? That's going against your roots and what you stood (and should still stand, ideally) for C.) This is suppose to be the #1 Oasis forum on the web - all of us our die hards, yet look at the division this is causing - clearly not every fanboy is buying into it, far from it actually. It's a GREAT idea, don't get me wrong. From the haircut to the clothing Liam has always looked mega, so to have a clothing line designed to only what he would wear is ace (although no way in hell would he wear a plain tshirt with such a tacky logo for so much money!), but he's going about it all wrong....

A.) He's rich as fuck, he doesn't need any more money! Why is he starting a clothes line then? It's business ffs. C.) clearly not every fanboy is buying into it, far from it actually. No, not every fan(boy) will be buying his cotton crap but loads of people on here, and in the Oasis community in general, will be buying his stuff and therefor justifying the high prices. I doubt the general public will even notice Pretty Green exists.

I love the jackets, is it just me or have the prices changed though? I'm sure they were £75 at first? now gone to £125.
Coz I was considering the navy one and the black one, but may as well buy the penguin equivalent now.
