Supersonic1983 is definitely right. But whatever, if nobody buys them then the business will fail. So what? That's capitalism isn't it? Who's forcing you to purchase an overpriced shirt? Liam? I'd love it.....

Never mind the price, it's just stupid that he is selling clothing. And this, too

It all looks good but I thought he designed these because he couldn't get clothes he liked. It's your stereotypical Mod look that can be picked up anywhere. Still like it though.

I think EVERYONE is over-reacting one way or an other. true the clothes are not cheap neither are they expensive, it all depends what other brands you want to compare them too. the designs are all down to personal taste .. i personally would like to see the clothes up close and feel the quality before i decide whether to buy or not but since that is not going to happen the best best is to buy something, check it out and return it if you're not happy?!

I'm hoping that these are just the prices for the limited range and that the full line-up will be more modest

That red jumper looks ace, in fairness. If I had the expendable income I'd have no hesitation buying it.

You won't know whether the clothes truly represent value for money until you wear them. Not true. They have to look good and feel good. They look very plain.

If it means I avoid walking around in clothes bearing meaningless slogans and/or ironic pop culture references, and subsequently looking like an utter pleb, then give me plain.

they're not expensive, some people on here must be really tight with their money and want to get a life if they wanna start a thread to bitch on about liam's first releases of his clothing collection.
you can tell that the gear is of good quality and its Mod influenced (thats where the "plain" posts come from)
they have obviously released only a selection of the clothes at the minute and there will be more to come (desert boots etc.)

I tried to look but the site was still down.
But here's the question...will it last? The PG label, I mean. How long before its run dry and the press have another reason to bite into and hate Oasis?
Not criticzign th stuff, i've not even seen it yet, but objectively...what do you think about the project's longevity?

Curiousity got the best of me and I had to google... According to GQ, Liam's partner is Nick Holland of Holland Esquire. His stuff isn't very flashy, but pricey (i.e. $99 polo shirts) -so maybe you're actually getting a discount if you buy it off Liam's site! Anyway - from the GQ pics these first items look pretty unexciting to me, but the tshirts and zip ups look pretty nice. Looks like more interesting stuff is coming later (like that herringbone, tweed jacket). How long before its run dry and the press have another reason to bite into and hate Oasis? I think the press will always find a way to hate Oasis, it's almost like a reflex for them at this point.

I buy plain Hugo Boss jumpers for about £170 and there isn't even a logo on them. I buy them for the quality. You can't beat designer clothes for quality, so I'll have no hesitation buying a Pretty Green jumper in July.

If it means I avoid walking around in clothes bearing meaningless slogans and/or ironic pop culture references, and subsequently looking like an utter pleb, then give me plain. No, I hate those t-shirts. However it's a plain Fruit of the Loom t-shirt with a massive logo in the middle in multiple colours. Theres been no thought gone into it whatsoever. It's the same design repeated. For example: Plain t-shirt with Oasis logo, available in a variety of colours ![](http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IeVEawIpC_k/SS1gyqTSrjI/AAAAAAAAFN8/vUj261Kabqk/s320/6738278x.jpg) Plain t-shirt with Pretty Green logo, available in a variety of colours ![](http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/252/16010152.jpg) Not exactly a huge difference is there?

To be quite honest, I see nothing "special" about these items we've seen at the PG site. 1st impression when I saw the T-shirts, was "this is it?" Then I saw the polo's and thought "you're kidding me right?" Call it "Mod" influenced but, at the rate Liam hyped it all up was that it was surpass "Fred", "Ben", "MERC" etc etc. Its clearly the exact same style cuts on all the threads as the above mentioned brands. Fair play, how many different cuts can you have a fuckin polo neck? not very many, but you can at least be more creative and add patterns/designs to them besides a fuckin "logo" shit, he should of had his signature/autograph "STITCHED" (not fuckin silkscreened or ironed on) to all the garments. If the PG Co. isn't using the absolute FINEST materials (fabric, buttons, stitching) then its a fuckin rip with the amount of ca$heez PG is charging us. Now, 1st of foremost, I AM NOT CHEAP. I have no qualms in paying $120 clams for a polo or $200-$275 for a nice jacket, $200+ bucks for nice shoes. But, that's bc they are good quality shoes. Now none of us here (I'm guessing) have not actually got their mitts on any of Liam's gear, we are only going by photographs, I'm getting the navy hat and am going to hold off on buying shirts or scarf's till we have actual buyers reports. But, in my honest opinion these threads look nothing spec. The only thing that somewhat saves this whole line is that PG claims/states that the cotton used on the garments is Egyptian, which is the finest form of cotton one can have.....tbc.
PS, I think the site has to change the way we can view the products UP CLOSE. some sites you can super zooom in and almost see stitch patterns on the gear, fabric lines, when you post pics up the way PG did, it looks like some cheap generic site selling Fruit of the Loom concert Ts.

obviously this is not the full range, they'll be more to come
I'm someone, and I'm sure everyone does, buys clothes that arent always designed with some great design on them or have a different style cut etc
These clothes wll definitely be higher quality fabric compared to most, hence the price, but then you get a slightly higher price as it's Liam Gallagher
so all in all a pretty fair price - liking the Tracksuit tops, they look very nice

the clothes on the site look boring...but in the pictures where liam is wearing them - looks great. you cant just judge by what you see in the photos. buy them, feel them. i bet they will feel nothing like some shitty fruit of the loom or A&F or wharever shirts.

I think its actually pretty cool. What did you expect, Ed Hardy Stuff? Its designer, of course its going to be expensive. But if you buy ralph lauren polos or lacoste polos at 65-70 a shirt, this is very comparable. I might have to pick a couple of pretty green polos for casual fridays in the office.
Is there going to be a physical store or just online?
