some of you sand-brains need to gain a little perspective.
1. If you think the clothes are over-priced, you know shit about "designer" clothing. And yes, this "shit" is designer clothing, regardless of what you think.
2. Throw out the bullshit of what you "think" a t-shirt "is". Anytime you pay more than $15 for a t-shirt, ALL you're paying for is the design/name...make no mistake about it. You can construct the "best" cotton t-shirts in the world for 15-$20, every dollar or pound thereafter is NOT about construction quality.
3. The prices of the gear are almost directly in-line with the competition of which they're aspiring to "compete". My girl, god bless her, spends more money in a month on this shit then most here make in a week, and her opinion falls in line with mine and most who are privy to this shit: it is accurately priced for its market.
deal with it.
If you thought this guy was going to introduce a line of clothing that included $25 t-shirts and $50 polo's then you're retarded and have absolutely no clue.
yes, you're retarded.

The notion that a clothing line from one of the greatest ROCKSTARS of the last 2 decades is "overpriced" because it contains $60 t-shirts and $80 polos is fantastically more represenative of static brain activity than my dead-on points. That said, you're more than welcome to re-post with another non-sensical comment. So, fire at will.

A lot of people aren't complaining about the price, its the blandness of it all.
I have no problems at all spending money on clothes. Its what most of my disposable income goes on, but I like to get something a little unique when I spend my money. I don't wanna walk into a bar and see someone else wearing something similar.
This range is horrible. I bet theres loads of copycats up for sale on ebay already, its hardly difficult to copy his range is it? It's literally like he got a team of workers to iron on some transfers to some stuff he got at American Apparel.

what kind of threads are people expecting for summer: turtlenecks and wool sweaters?
Seeing that 90% of the human beings (male especially) walking around on a saturday afternoon can be seen wearing either a t-shirt or polo, the product choice seems fairly straightforward.
Secondly, the line is supposed to be representaive of what LIAM wears. And, contrary to what some believe, he is a rather CONSERVATIVE dresser- especially by rockstar standards.
Honestly, the line is very much what I expected. Very Liam.

what kind of threads are people expecting for summer: turtlenecks and wool sweaters? err no. Everyone was expecting t-shirts and polos, but ones that consisted of some better designs and a little more thought "Hey Liam, I can make you a bucket load of cash" "go on...." "well, think of a song name, make a logo for it, get on tinterweb and get a few thousand iron on transfers from china, print the logo onto the transfer and iron onto a t-shirt and hey presto!"

ok, he's in it for the money.
They just now figured out that a clothing line attached to a rock star will be bought by the millions of fans of said rock star.
good grief.
I give up.

Look, because I'm at work and have shit to do for the next 1o minutes, I'll serve you another helping of reality: it's really not all about the money.
I'll repeat: it's really not all about the money.
It sounds sexy and cool to make such a common-man, short-sighted statement, but that's EXACTLY what it is.
I'll give you a brief lesson in mass scale economy since I possess a MBA and you are likely bursting eraser-sized pimples on your face.
If it were all about MONEY, this would be neither the scale (nor the avenue for that matter) that would be pursued to produce maximum (or even marginal) monetary gain. This is easy, stupid. Look up and study production vs. profit scale, especially related to marketing known personas.
If it were about MONEY, this track (which I've already stated wouldn't be pursued in the first place, but if it did) would have occured a DECADE earlier. Duh.
Fact: Anyone with a shred of production, marketing, and private-market goods experience will tell you that Liam will be making PENNIES on the dollar for everything he sells. PENNIES. Kinda fucked if he's in it for the money, heh? And surely, this stuff is not exactly priced to be flying out the doors, remember?
Fact: Liam and Noel are nearly as rabid about fashion as they are about music (perhaps more on a given day). Wow, shocking then that one of them intensified that interest and produced a small clothing line. Fucking insane, that.
Fact: they have both the financial means and interest in pursuing other avenues
Fact: they have the connections to exploit their interests (both personally and from a business standpoint) beyond knob-jockeys like you who construct absolutely dreadful, cliche' forum- post signatures.
Fact: You'll post something else (likely some predictable retort, penciling in another idiotic assumption based on idle conjecture, not logic), further exposing your ignorance to the real motivations of humans but keen to the staid, me-too rhetoric of people who think they REALLY know what's going on.
go nuts though.
