It's a hat trick of shitty videos for DOYS. Though I prefer this one to either of the previous two, if I was forced to choose.

The concept's alright, but the actual video is horrible. And the cinemagraphy is boring too. Such dull colours.
Liam looks hot in a suit tho.

I don't like the video either, in all honesty I think it's their worst since Go Let It Out.

At least you may all agree this video spurred some discussion. What was there to discuss about the Let There Be Love video except that it was a monument to laziness? In the end it depends on personal taste. Some people want to see more of the band, some people dig the story and having something different. In the end, the world isn't going to end on a music vid. You watch it if you want, you don't if you don't. You still have the other Oasis videos to see, they aren't going anywhere.

Don't get it. Guess its a whole double standard for the princess girl.
Interesting video. I'll have to watch it again to get it. The Noel death stare was excellent though. That alone makes me want to never ask him for an autograph or picture.

Hmm very interesting...at first I thought it was absolute shit cause I was hoping for some cool DOYS-ish graphics, and some cool shots of Noel playing the song...and it would be darker. Not at all what i expected. But after watching it I have gained a subtle amount of respect for it...certainly different but also thought provoking. I'd like to see the band MUCH MORE though.

You guys have to realize it might be bad, but common people wont be looking at that, just the fact how big the song will get now because of its scandal part.

After further review (two more times), I think it's pretty good. Oasis fans won't like it, because we expected something else for this song. But the video is well done, great story telling about the double life this woman is living. Good stuff overall. It leaves something up to the imagination, like, what went down between the boys and this girl. Did she do lines with them? Did she fuck one of them? Both them? It's pretty interesting.

It's decent. Not gonna bitch about it cos it's a fucking music video though lol. Like honestly, who even watches music channels anymore? Do MTV even play them anymore or it just a bunch of ghastly reality television?
Best part about the video is the looks Liam and Noel give to the girl. Especially Noel.

IMO it would be a decent clip with a different song. It doesn't suit Falling Down.

If I want to see a drama, I'll turn on the TV and watch a movie. Music videos should highlight the band and the song, if it tells a story at the same time then so be it - the two aren't mutually exclusive - but to only focus on the story misses the entire point of a music video
It's so bad.

This video is ABSOLUTE SHIT. I'm so disappointed. The band make 2 appearances lasting no more than a total of 3 seconds. And the couple clips of them are so uninteresting, not even with any instruments. This is by far one of the worst videos they've done. Seriously, what the fuck? You took most of my words right outta my mouth. There's no fuckin BAND/OASIS concept to it. I really don't think Liam would of masterminded such a video about the fuckin Royals...I bet it was all Noel. With all his recent chit chatter about "politics". I could dreamt up soo many other fantastic possibilities for this vid on comparison to this crap. Out of all the Oasis vids this is by far, the WORST one.

It's bad but I liked it more than that previous two.
The thing is if the song wasn't that good then I could live with a bad video. This song is top quality but they totally blew the video. I know they don't like doing videos but come on get creative!

FFS Its a video for a song. Ye all sound like a bunch of 12 year olds.
"BOO HOO i didn't get to see Liam for more than 2.85877756 seconds. I want my life back. "
Bunch of fucking fan boys

Not every video has to feature the band, but if you're supposed to be telling a story you have to at least make it interesting. Sorry but I think the video is boring as fuck. It's not until the shot of Charles that you realise who the girl is meant to be, leaving you with 5 minutes of people walking a dog and some wifey in a limo. It isn't thought provoking and doesn't leave you on a cliffhanger. The director has failed.

Absolute filler, absolute pish.

What part is exactly great? The boring story line? The fact that the band doesn't appear at all, really? The fact that it's a contrived and unoriginal commentary on royalty? How the common viewer doesn't know what's going on until halfway through? That the non-Oasis fan wouldn't even be able to recognize who the band members were? That the video doesn't reflect not only the quality of the song but also the content? I stand by Oasis on most things. It's hard for me to criticize this band because I love them so much. But when they produce shit, I will call a spade a spade; and this FD video is indeed that spade. It's so incredibly bad and once again higlights the problem with Oasis' promitional department. No matter what your personal beliefs are regarding this video, ask yourself: "Will the non-Oasis fan understand the video? Will the understand who Oasis are? Will they associate and correlate the song to the video accuretly?" The answer to all that is NO, THEY WILL NOT. Thus, no matter what you, an Oasis fan, thinks, the video has failed. The video isn't made for the fans, it's made to garner more support from the general public, and this poor video wont mobilize any non-oasis fan, I'm sorry. Unbelievable how anyone in the Oasis camp thought this would be a good idea. If it wasn't anyone in the band, the person who made the decision to do this should be fired right now, what a fucker.
