If it weren't for that refrain at the end (which isn't as good as I expected) this'd be a right stinker, pretty disappointing.

It's better than 85-90% of their B-sides IMO. And that's saying something.

I really like the track. I think it could have closed the album actually.
Not sure why you dont like it... its a top song. Everyones opinions different tho. However, its better than a few of the tracks on the album definately. The ending is the best part tho, gonna agree with you there.

Maybe I'm an Oasis freak but I've been looking foward to this Oasis song for awile. Kinda like I did with STC and Recod Machine. I certainly believe this song lives up to the hype I first gave it when I read about Courtney Love's rockin' discription.Of course later on Noel this considered this song (in a drunk state of mind) to be a transition single between albums like 'Whatever' was. So always knew the song had great potential. Yes it should have made DOYS but at least it got the 'abbey road' magic and got released unlike STC or RM so we might hear it. Be thankful for that and these remixes are very intersting and gives these DOYS songs a different quality But thats for another post. Bottom line 'Boy with the Blues' is an amazing song!

I obviously had bigger hopes for the song... the verses aren't that good, but I like the chorus... and the outro sounds very gospel indeed.... But hey, I've got nothing to lose

One of Liam's best songs. How did AGN, Soldier On and NOR get on the album ahead of this? The refrain at the end of this would have been the perfect way to close the album.

Definately one of the coolest chord progressions in Oasis.
Lovely Vocal.
If only the Coral fucked off!

for me, I think it's far from as good as I was expected, but better than SOLDIER ON
