I think this is a very good tune, really like it. Maybe I'm mistaken, but who was this song hyped by other than the fans being unrealistically optimistic? No one. Infact Noel said it needed more work. |

to be honest after first listen i actually skipped to last 30 seconds as i wasn't impressed with the song, just did nothing for me. maybe it will grow but on first listen it didn't have the impact all the songs on the album had for me

This a song that is never going to be on an album and people still complain. It's a B-side FFS.
IMO this is the best B-side in years and it could've been on the album. But who cares we have it now. Like it? Listen! Don't? Piss Off!

Like all Liam songs, at its core is a good idea, but why does everything of his that the band puts out sound like a demo? Like... it needs more melody. It needs more lyrics. It needs to develop and grow. It goes nowhere. It shows promise but it needs so much work.

I actually thought the song was ok. However, the last 30 seconds are the most overrated 30 seconds of all time. I was expecting a big change or something epic. But instead, I got Liam repeating the same line over and over and over and over, etc. I have no idea what people are on about in regards to the last 30 seconds.
Liam has certainly written worse . . .

Is it just me, or does it seem like too many people here just want the song to be good
its really not that good guys, its very average and it was left off the album for a reason. BWTB was hyped to death and totally disappoints.
Now Im Outta Time was hyped to death, and THAT delivered. BWTB is not that good, its actually very boring IMO. I wish it was good, and I tried to convince myself to like it, but guys, its not that good. If this song wasnt already so hyped, you would all be saying "eh, its alright"

After hearing it a few times on youtube I thought it was actually a pretty good tune. Probably some work needed to be an album track, but that's why it's probably going to be a B-Side. I liked it more than Ain't Got Nothin' at least. I Believe In All, however, painfully average for me. That's for the other thread though.

The weird is that I heard tehre was a discussion about the end of that song... seems like Liam had left LA because he wanted to do the ending of the song with a couple of female singers, but Noel claimed he had a better ending.... but now, listening to the song, it seems like Liam got his way...
