I always liked songs like LF and DLBIA, especially DLBIA intrigued me. Then around 2003 I started researching the band (reading interviews on internet, checking out their albums and finding all these standout songs) and slowly got mad fer it.

Liked Live Forever. Found Wonderwall super annoying. Became "officially" mad fer it when I heard Champagne Supernova.
Funny thing is I cant stand CS now and prefer Wonderwall over it. ;D

Though I've voted for "DOYS era", I became interested in Oasis... You would laugh at me... When the band split up.( I've come up in time, haven't I?((((((

Though I've voted for "DOYS era", I became interested in Oasis... You would laugh at me... When the band split up.( I've come up in time, haven't I?(((((( lol how was that? I became a fan sometime in april of 2002 when a friend gave me The Masterplan as a gift (it was a Saturday lol). The whole listen was an amazing experience and that album blew me away completely. I was 14 years old and up until that point in my life no other band had caused the impact that Oasis has caused on me. The Masterplan was the one song that made me realize I had just 'discovered' the best band in the world. And that happened by the time HC leaked! So I became a fan in the beginning of HC era. When I watched The Hindu Times on MTV, it was the first time I saw them 'performing' and my exact words were: "wow, they look cool as fuck!".

I went to their show in the Atlantic Pavillion in february 2009 here in Lisbon, because my cousin had a ticket he wouldn't use. All I knew was Wonderwall, SCYHO and DLBIA. (don't judge me, I was 15). Something happened during that hour and half and I left that show a new person. This sounds stupid, but it's true. I went home, and I started a long journey on wikipedia, and from that night on, EVERYTHING changed. So yes, Dig Out Your Soul for me.

BHN. First ever album I ever got was BHN for Xmas 1997. However, the full blown fanaticism didn't kick in until DBTT.

Dig Out Your Soul era. I got into Oasis in September of 2008, after being introduced to them by a British friend. He showed me several tracks, and the ones I particurally liked were Little By Little, The Hindu Times and Champagne Supernova. I purchased (What's the Story) Morning Glory? that month and I adored it, it quickly became my favourite album. I heard Shock of the Lightning, which really got my attention, and picked up Dig Out Your Soul on release date along with the Stop the Clocks compilation. These three albums made me a die-hard Oasis fan, and when I bought Be Here Now the following month, it totally blew me away, and I began to appreciate the other albums more. I was sure set as a fan for life. I collected all of their albums over the time, and ever since then they've stuck with me, through the good times and the shit times. I'm damn proud to be an Oasis fan. Madferit!

I got into Oasis in September of 2008 What a great period to be an Oasis fan. Doys was about to be released, rumors everywhere, the fake villain users ;D. The setlist was still fresh and Liam's voice sounding very good... Good days those were!

The setlist was still fresh and Liam's voice sounding very good... Good days those were! Indeed =) it seems that I got into the band at just the right time. The discovery of Oasis is another reason why 2008 was so great for me. A true highpoint in my life However, the unfortunate side of this, is I never got to see the band live. They never booked any dates near my area during the DOYS Tour, and I never expected them to break up afterwards. If I would have known, I damn sure would have traveled several thousand miles to see them.

been converting all my canadian friends aha.

I'm 17 and I was listening to arctics, coral and kasabian in 05 so it only made sense that I would later discover the genius of our kid. Got into them late 2007 aswell, borrowed a mate's copy of Stop the clocks. I only went to one gig and unfortunately it was in dig out your soul era, lol. I told him it will probs be the last chance we get to see them (had my liam godlike future seeing powers with me lol) and it was ............................................................................ .

Spring 2007. I liked a few Oasis tunes before then (mostly Noel sung ones like Little by Little and The Masterplan) but could never consider myself a proper fan.
I remember I was revising for an exam and Don't Look Back In Anger came on the TV - first time I'd heard it in its entirety and not just the chorus. I was amazed at how brilliant it was, went on the internet and listened to it over and over again, researched them more and went out to buy Stop The Clocks for £7.
Like every 'best of' album bought, I thought it would have its hits and misses - not one though. Put it on, I loved every second of it. I listened to that CD to death it was so good. By the end of that year, I had every Oasis album. God, they are damn addictive.

Don't know how to answer properly. My dad was playing Oasis records when I was growing up. He got into them around '95, I think, so I'd guess the first time I heard them was around then. But I can't really remember, to be honest.

First Oasis gig was at the LCCC on Sunday 15th September, 2002. Totally wrecked a perfectly good pair of trainers that day. My first gig was the 14th But I first got into Oasis after Standing had come out, BUT strangely (considering how I feel about it now) the first album I bought was Be Here Now after hearing about 5 different songs off the album on a programme I used to watch: Dream Team. Ahh I remember them days! Can even remember what songs they used: Be Here Now, Stand By Me, Don't Go Away (ok I can only remember 3 of the songs they used but I even remember hearing Whatever at one point. THey didn't have use a shed load of Oasis songs throughtout the ten years EDIT: Just wanted to add that, after getting into Oasis I then discovered my mums bf had Definitely Maybe, got given (What's The Story)Morning Glory? off my sisters bf and my mate gave me his copy of Be Here Now. So the next album I actually bought was The Masterplan. Though I did go on a massive buying spree with the singles off the market as there was a guy selling them for like a £1 each or something

It all started 2004,A few of my mates were banging on about this band Called Oasis,They were going on as if they were the best thing ever. I was thinking at the time 'They can't be as good as what your making out to be' I asked my dad if i could listen to WTSMG as it was the album which everyone had. I listened to it and fell in love with them. My music taste wasn't going to be the same again.
