Not a vocal I would've thought Liam was capable of again pre As You Were. Very nice job by rKid with his heart in the right place but not something I'd go back to.

Mucky Fingers Sunday Morning Call Let There Be Love Roll It Over I agree with you about Mucky Fingers but is Roll It Over (which is a great song) really overhated. I mean I think most people like it. Nice one, I've always felt I was in the minority with my love for RIO. Cheers

I'd have to say the One Love appearance & Glastonbury '17 in so far as as announcing his arrival as a solo artist. The TRNSMT festival in '18 was mega (probably my personal favorite) with an awesome setlist along with last year's Radio X gig. Unplugged as honorable mention.

Waaaay too many people say "who?" or "oh, the hockey song guys"whenever I bring up the Fratellis, my #2 after the mighty Oasis. Half Drunk Under A Full Moon album is brilliant. Not to mention all the people in their songs who drive, live in, stole or wrecked a Bluebird... All the whole with no money for the petrol.

Waaaay too many people say "who?" or "oh, the hockey song guys"whenever I bring up the Fratellis, my #2 after the mighty Oasis. Half Drunk Under A Full Moon album is brilliant. It's weird I saw them here in Dublin at the Costello Music era period and they played in front of 5,000 people at a concert and sold it out. Chelsea Dagger is bona fide classic at this point. Other songs like Henrietta, Whistle for the Choir and Baby Fratelli got a lot of airplay on radio. This was around 2007. They did well in America with that album too I believe. I saw them 10 years later, in front of 500 people (it wasn't sold out). A lot of people there didn't react to anything besides the first album stuff. They were pretty damn good live still but it was a massive fall for them after the first album. The Second album lacked big hit's really, and really their next albums as well didn't have Chelsea Dagger big monster hit. But they can pull in a big audience in Scotland and I'm sure they'd do well with tours but they just didn't have that album after their first that matched it in terms of big radio hits. Definitely..and taking a break after Here We Stand didn't help either. I think they've matured with every album and become more of an album oriented band which doesn't really help on the charts. Jon's songwriting is phenomenal and continues to progress. I still find a common thread in all their work that traces back to Costello Music. Half Drunk is one of the best albums I've heard in years, shame the official release has been pushed back yet again. In many ways it's a sequel to In Your Own Sweet Time, story threads and characters from songs like Starcrossed Losers & I Am That are picked up again on Half Drunk. That's another thing I've always loved about them, some characters keep popping up, Miss Dagger, Lupe Brown, Ella. Cheers

It's a selfish point of view, it's not about HIM getting the virus, its about him not giving others tbe virus. It's been proven that asymptomatic carriers can be spreaders... strap it on rkid.

Good point but I interpreted what Liam said as he wasn't complaining about not being paid but was simply pointing out his perceived hipocracy on Noel's part. Cheers

My Liam Thought Of The Day... After BE withered away I honestly thought rkid was finished. When he hit the stage at One Love I knew he was back and we were witnessing a massive comeback.. but I never imagined THREE number 1 albums in three years... Just incredible. Cheers Liam, well deserved.

Just listened to the album. The sound quality is really off. It's basically the same quality as the video, and the volume keeps going up and down during the songs, and sounds like its jumping from each ear. Really distracting, can anyone else hear this? Did a track by track listen from the rip of the HD Video to the official and thought the mix on the new release was superior with Liam sounding warmer and fuller, I thought it was very well engineered over all.

Have to say.. twat, not. Now that doesn't mean I'm a fan., Just seems innocuous at worst and I do fancy his bass lick towards the end of Mucky Fingers. That being said there's TNOR lurking in the background.

This tranisition was done perfectly by Idledreamer about 10 years ago for his Don't Believe The Truth Redux project. Definitely worth a listen to if people get chance. Indeed mate, I listen to DBTT Redux regularly, better than the official release.

I voted the 5 albums rather than just the one, I'd be satisfied with 3 good albums in that span along with a touring schedule. Life with only one more album from rkid isn't a thought I'd like to consider. They may have all not measured up after Morning Glory but I'm still glad we have them all.

Agree 100% My redux version swaps out the same songs and I have the extended opening version of Beatles & Stones in there as well. Pretty good album indeed.

I've listened to this album continuously since I got it. A modern masterpiece IMHO and unlike anything they've ever done. No filler tracks 1 to 10, lyrically, composition wise, arrangements. Touches of Phil Spector, Brian Wilson, The Beatles and... The Fratellis. Title track has been stuck in my head for 3 says, just brilliant. Almost brought me to tears a couple of times. The right album at the right time I guess. Highly recommended.

Wow, well hey... His shows are pretty rock n roll, yeah? For me it's still rock n roll when Liam takes his stance at the mic and pours his heart, soul and swagger into a tune... that's rock n roll baby... And that to me is what makes him the last rock n roll star.

I prefer the demo as well, but compared to the likes of BSD/TITP/BMR it's a fucking tune It is indeed far better than those aforementioned. Can you imagine Liam singing it..growling...we can be dream ha ha... C'mon... "size of a cowwwwwa" Would have been brilliant!
