I listened to FK in the car last night and I'll admit, I enjoyed it and some jamming occurred. But, like I mentioned before.. It's a tad bit too cluttered for my taste. Someone mentioned that they thought that @:40 Mark it felt incomplete perhaps due to the lyrics being removed... I get a sense of incompleteness throughout the track. I'm not a fan of the "electronic" alarm bell. ( don't yell at me) This is probably going to sound crazy... but the "gotta get yourself together" kept reminding of a song i heard growing up and then my dad said it was The Valentine's "Gotta get yourself together"... which he played constantly. I don't think it was nod to that and maybe I'm nuts for thinking about the Valentine's song.
It's
Anyways, I enjoy FITB because of its simplicity, yet absolutely love the full on drum rock!
Before anyway goes off on me... I don't speak "music" so most of thoughts are probably the wrong way to express my feelings but hopefully someone gets what I was trying to say! 🤔😉

STOPCRYINGYOURHEARTOUT.COM Latest Oasis, Liam And Noel Gallagher News ▼ 28 October 2017 Liam Gallagher On Oasis, Bonehead Driving The Van, Drinking, Weed, Security Guards And More
Liam Gallagher has spoken about the rise of Oasis from the times Bonehead drove the Oasis tour van, sharing hotel rooms with band members to playing arenas and stadiums.
He told NME Gold "I cant remember anything about journalists being on the early tours. But those were the fucking days, man: when you don't really know if anyone gives a fuck or not. Bonehead driving the van, sharing rooms and shit, lots of drinking, lots of weed smoking, not so much of the other at that point. Just never-ending nights, d'you know what I mean? Just feeling invincible never really worrying about singing or any of that. I don't think I ever warmed up once. I'd just be sat backstage stoned and someone goes, 'Right you're on', and that would be it. Not that professional to be fair, which was good at that time. It's when you go into arenas that you start thinking, 'Fucking Hell. I've got to hold it down a bit.' it's a bit of an occasion then, when it's not just in a pub, and it seems like a lot of people have dressed up for it or whatever. It's like 'Fuck I better put this spliff out.' In them early days, didn't have any security guards either so it was just us lot in a van and the road crew."
He added "I remember getting the first security guard and thinking 'Fuck this. What's this all about?' I remember he came on because Noel got a whack at some gig, and then all of a sudden there they are. But he's stood by my side! I'm like 'Here y'are mate it wasn't me who got the dig! Go stand with him.' So then I had this big daft vagina who was always hanging about with me. Our kid would have a bit of freedom running off down the road, and I'd be stuck with the big idiot, just wherever I went. I'd be going 'I'm just to the shop', and he'd go 'I've been told I've got to come with you'. So that pissed me off a bit. I found that adjustment a bit weird. We'd have a little aftershow, and then just bowl out and have a laugh with the fans and all that. But when it got to arenas, I just stayed backstage because it got a bit intense. It was like everyone was in your face and it got a bit rabid. Early days, you could kind of sit about and have a beer with all the fans, and it was chilled. Then when it went massive, everyone was just on soon as you came offstage. I kind of stopped doing that stuff."

I still think something is missing at the 45 second mark. It seems like originally there were actual lyrics and they were dropped later. There could be a vocal take that matches up at the 45 second mark. Yes! Thank you... I've been trying to figure this out and that makes sense!

You've just said the same thing in the main WBTM topic. There's no need to seek attention with your own thread. same hear .. I'm usually force feeding new Noel music to my friends .. I'm embarrassed to let them listen to this stuff.. sad Carlo, Really? that was unnecessary and bit harsh I don't see the harm in his thread. I kinda get what he's saying...

I really don't care about what Weller said.. Maybe I'd be more inclined if Noel didn't mention Weller in every single interview. People talk negatively about Liam's obsession with Lennon, which is annoying but at least it's a musical obsession whereas Noel has this cringing bromance with Weller. So, when it comes to either of them, I have a hard time believing their comments aren't influenced by their annoying bromance. But Weller is a living person. Liam worships the myth that is Lennon. A guy who isn't alive and probably never existed. That's far more cringey. Noel is actually friends with Weller, lives next door to him, and loves his music. He's not worshiping a ghost tbf. I don't particularly agree with Weller's assessment, but there are clear differences in the healthiness of Noel's relationship to him and Liam's to Lennon. I see your point. But,come on you have to admit it's getting a tad ridiculous for Noel to continue to mention him & Weller in every interview. Thankfully, Liam seems to have kinda stopped discussing Lennon in every interview.

I'm really hoping that he adds something to his U.S. tours.... like Warners giving the ok for the horns?! And what's up with no mention about the special guest?

Even if it was true why would touts buy all the tickets and then advertise them at three times the price if there was no demand? Would be a bit daft of them really. Excited for his success? Im a fan, hes not my cousin or uncle. I boughg the singles, bought yhe albun months ago. Waw denied pre sale tixkets for his tour. Couldnt get tickets for his tour. Then spend hours this morning being disapointed again. I have a right to be annoyed and think the true fans should be being protected and looked after a little bwttwrr. Only a fool would think otherwise. Please go back and read your original post that I commented on. You implied that Liam's gig didn't sell out because of a demand from fans but because of TOUTS! Yeah, you have a right to be annoyed but you don't have a right to insult me or anyone else on here.

Seriously, why can't some be excited for his success?! If true.. then it's hilarious that those "touts" didn't seem to even bother with Noel's tour! Even if it was true why would touts buy all the tickets and then advertise them at three times the price if there was no demand? Would be a bit daft of them really. Exactly. I'm psyched for everyone that got tickets!

I genuinely can't believe he sold this out without announcing any other acts! Incredible. He hasnt! the ticket touts have! Tickets are already inflated on other websites. Seriously, why can't some be excited for his success?! If true.. then it's hilarious that those "touts" didn't seem to even bother with Noel's tour!

I honestly don't think Noel gives a flying fucking about As You Were - or Liam. Really?! Of course, noel cares and it's killing him that LG doesn't need him to be successful. Same is for Liam. The only difference is that Liam has experienced failure and hit rock bottom. And I think Noel's recent interviews, prove that LG is getting under his skin. Noel is conceded, but he also a typical narcissist. Let's face it, he can say "he doesn't care" about what his fans think but he thrives on that attention...and money. It's why he hasn't done any decent press for this album, he didn't think he needed too...hes gotten way too comfortable. You know Noel doesn't decide where or when to do interviews or photoshoots, right? I mean, he doesn't call Q up himself or something.[/quote] No way! And here I've been waiting by the phone for all these celebs to call me so I can interview... they definitely didn't teach me that in college.

Everything related to this album, feels extremely rushed. Imo he should have given more space between his album and LG. As well As more space from his tour with U2 especially since he's not really performing hardly any new material. I know they're different albums but they will forever be linked together.. no matter how much he tries to distance himself. I'm extremely guilty of comparing them... It's hard not to. His concerts are not selling, at least in the U.S. Everything is screaming way too last minute, and I think it's really going to affect him.
Simply put, his people and him got too comfortable with his success in his past albums..mainly because he didn't have any competition. Him and his team (ignition) are basically non-existent on social media. I agree with the too many "yes" people. although he still has time to turn it around.. but I think his attitude will not allow him to do so.

I agree with the alarm.. it's annoying and distracting. I'm not sure about the female vocals...i like them around the @:40 Mark but I feel like they're in competition with the alarm. The only word that I can think of to describe it is.. cluttered!? I agree that I'm a tad concerned that it might not have been the best choice for 2nd single. Hopefully, I'm wrong. But, I felt the same with Chinatown, even though I really like it. I like it but not enough to pre-order the album, yet. its not a single. just a song being played on radio tonight. Beautiful World comes out next Friday with a video. That is the second single. Ok, my mistake

Anyone else think that so far the PR and build up to Noel's album isn't feeling as effective as the campaign for Liam's album? Hope I'm wrong and it sells well when it's released but when this sort of meaningless shit is considered one for the win column it feels like something is amiss. I agree 100%... I get he's annoyed with the constant Liam questions but in the past he's been able to give a snarky and funny comment. I don't get it. I'm hoping it's just too much partying with u2 and things change.🤞

Can't believe Noel has only been on Ol' Russ' show once since it came back. Get Rusty to phone him up for twenty minutes a week like in the old days, free and easy exposure. I'm currently listening to all the old Russell Brand podcasts and Noel's calls are always funny. Even his one appearance on the Radio X run this year was really good. "Hey mister...why you ain't got no beard?" I'm not fan of Russell Brand but I agree... NG was hilarious on his shows.

Is this dj going to annoy me as much as the ones I've painfully listened to for Liam? I think Gordon Smart is worse than Chris Moyles, I can never listen to his shows. What both Liam and Noel should do is X-Posure with John Kennedy, he does long track by track album interviews, classic albums and new ones, and a quite recent and a good one was about Urban Hymns. I can't listen to any of the DJS here in Louisiana... all they do is talk about bs stuff... More music Less talking!
