Which is the better instrumental - Fort Knox or Fucking in the Bushes?
I know for a fact that Fucking in the Bushes is going to win this poll because the Oasis fanbase loves it so much. I really never understood the love for Fucking in the Bushes, it just sounds so empty to me.
Fort Knox is my choice by far. It does drag and could benefit from being about 1 minute shorter, but it's a full wall of sound with hypnotic drumming, and decent amount of bass.
That being said, you can never beat the Swamp Song....Maine Road, coming on stage to that fucking biblical, man. Snake Bite is pretty cool too. (A Quick Peek, however is not. Waste of space).

I knew this was coming!
I really like FK, but my vote is for FITB.

Fort Knox. Was never a huge fan of FITB, always preferred TSS.

Fort Knox is musically more interesting for me.
Too much of FITB is one guitar line over a pretty standard Noel melody, with every other instrument in it only playing the root notes.

Fucking in the Bushes : iconic, better produced, dangerous and perfect length.
I like Fort Knox though. But it's too much trying to sound like this and that, although musically more complicated.
Fucking in the Bushes sounds like Fucking in the Bushes and only like Fucking in the Bushes.

Its a tie for me (no vote). They're both brilliant in their own way.

FITB is better in lots of ways. It sounds more like a rock track, and the Isle of Wight festival sampling really adds to the tune.
In the words of the scary big bird called The Baroness `I'm all for it!'

FITB all the way. Raw, simple, goovy, and in your face. Proof that you don't need to say a lot to create a great impact.

Right...
FAAAAAAR too early to say
FITB is one of my favourite Oasis tunes. Probably sits in my top 30.
So if i was to vote... It would have to be FITB. But on the first listen Fort Knox is that fucking awesome I'm gonna have to sit on the fence for a while.
I hear Pendulum, I Hear Kasabians Debut, I hear Dark Side of the Moon. The Way the Bass drops in and out i'm hearing Airbag by Radiohead.
I fucking Love it. Its Amazing!!!
But ive loved Bushes for 17 years... So I aint voting. I need 12 months.

FITB by a long way not because I don't like FK, I do quite a lot, but its more a sign of how much I love FITB.
Also it doesn't have a bell.

The bell makes Fort Knox for me. It adds a sense of tension to the song.

FITB is a classic for me, but I really like FK though (sounds like something from DOYS era, which I like a lot). My vote goes to FITB

I listened to FK in the car last night and I'll admit, I enjoyed it and some jamming occurred. But, like I mentioned before.. It's a tad bit too cluttered for my taste. Someone mentioned that they thought that @:40 Mark it felt incomplete perhaps due to the lyrics being removed... I get a sense of incompleteness throughout the track. I'm not a fan of the "electronic" alarm bell. ( don't yell at me) This is probably going to sound crazy... but the "gotta get yourself together" kept reminding of a song i heard growing up and then my dad said it was The Valentine's "Gotta get yourself together"... which he played constantly. I don't think it was nod to that and maybe I'm nuts for thinking about the Valentine's song.
It's
Anyways, I enjoy FITB because of its simplicity, yet absolutely love the full on drum rock!
Before anyway goes off on me... I don't speak "music" so most of thoughts are probably the wrong way to express my feelings but hopefully someone gets what I was trying to say! 🤔😉

Oh, FITB no contest. That was such an exciting piece of music for Oasis to release at the time, especially as an opener to a very different album. And now 17 years later, after walking on stage to it for nearlyd 10 years, its still brilliant. So it's also not fair to FK to compare.
Fort Knox is a pretty good track, lots of interesting things going on, but I would agree that it would benefit from being about 30-60 seconds shorter.

FITB as a show opener.
FK as a song proper.
