I'm just baffled by his PR... I don't get the importance of a radio station just playing a song. It's the person who's playing the song. They wouldn't advertise any old radio station/program. That's least weird thing his team has done. I know it's Elton John... I'm not sure it validates a social media post. Now, had he interviewed Noel.. that might be worthy. I've met Elton John and just wasn't that impressed. Like I've said, I'm hoping his PR team starts impressing me!

Is this dj going to annoy me as much as the ones I've painfully listened to for Liam?

I have no problem with most of what Noel has said in this interview. He has every right to not want a relationship with Liam... I understand that 100% However, I also get why Liam has a different outlook on oasis then Noel.
And it really comes down to age. Noel got to experience life, the world, and even friendships before oasis with the inspiral carpets. It's easy to forget how young, Liam was when oasis started. It was his life; his friends, his experiences, etc. For @18 years, everything that Liam experienced was all connected to Oasis. So, he will always think of Oasis completely different than Noel.
As a fan, it doesn't bother me that they take shots of one another... that's brothers. It's disappointing, in that I lost my brother at a very young age so I appreciate that bond.. but it's not something that you can truly respect until you experience the lost. And unfortunately, I don't believe (based on experience) that Peggy' s death could reunite them.
At the end of the day, I'm an oasis fan. Yes, I lean more towards Liam now because of his personality but most importantly his music. I didn't always feel like that..i couldn't stand Liam, as a person, during oasis. He was obnoxious and I didn't think he appreciated his fan. Maybe because I was young, but I related to Noel having a condescending, conceded, unfiltered no fucks to give attitude. And I still felt that way, until I saw Supersonic which then led me to go back and re-watch tons of old interviews.
This was one of the moments in supersonic that changed my opinion of Noel...
And then, I came across these...and I realized why I loved and related to noel
Now, I realize that people change over the years..blah blah..and I'm just focusing on Noel at the moment..but there is something, more than age and aggravation, that has changed him.. he just doesn't seem happy to be promoting this album in his recent interviews. If you take away the bullshit Liam questions, there is a completely different vibe in his interviews. He has a right to be pissed and aggravated with Liam but I will never give him a pass for slacking off his fans. I'm not crazy about Holy mountain but I'm hopeful for the album. I keep waiting and being hopeful that his sanctimonious attitude will change in interviews but so far it hasn't. Maybe he'll do something next week that will surprise me and my opinion will change! 🤞
Now, before anyone responds to me, please understand that I'm simply expressing why I have issues with Noel at the moment... I'm not asking anyone to agree or disagree with my opinions. But, I kinda feel that I needed to explain my feelings with more than a sentence or a a blanketed post.✌
I apologize for the essay that I've written!😉

Ashcroft Mani Bonehead Guigsy Alan white Bez Shaun Ryder Some of the la's Charlatans Taylor Hawkins I could keep going but some of those could make an appearance!

maybe my situation will change by then... too expensive coming from U.S. and I can't imagine it being handicapped friendly. It will definitely definitely be accessible to all. You can contact the organisers, explain your situation and they will put your mind at rest. Thanks... maybe things will change but I'm very thankful that I'm seeing him in November 🤗

Ya it's impossible to find middle ground on the noel threads those people are obsessed and if u say anything they don't agree with their ready to literally fight you over it or basically call u stupid for having a different opinion (not gonna say names u know who u are) Check out the Liam threads and you might find out that it's exactly the same. I have to disagree with you. Based on my own experience. It's different. I've shared negative opinions on both threads regarding songs, and gotten very different responses. Maybe, it is just Me?

This is what is so frustrating on here... Just because a fan doesn't like a NG or LG song or album..doesnt automatically mean that their not fans. And just because someone is pissed about a comment.. doesn't mean that there allowing the comment to affect their daily life... It's perfectly acceptable to have an opinion and to express it.. you don't have to agree or disagree.
I'm pissed at NG comments because I'm a fan of his... It's idiotic for him or anyone on his team to make such a comment. Now had he written.. "the parka monkey..no s then I'd assumed he was talking about liam..just like the pigeon and eagle comment..and I could careless about what he says about his brothers and same for liam.
you don't insult your fanbase. There is no way around it.. It's the golden rule in regards to singers, bands, celebrities, sports people.
Btw, even though I'm fairly new to the forum.. there is a completely different vibe on Noel's thread than Liam's. I've become very hesitant to be post anything even interviews bc ive received bullshit responses.
Anyway, as Matt (supersonic doc guy) said about ng and LG.. "they're both wrong and both right"

wait that's a video? I hadn't noticed! Anyway, doesn't change much what I said, I think it refers to Liam/his crew, not the fans. I have a hunch the post was done by Sara btw... I have that same theory. I'd like to think that he's not that stupid to go after oasis fans.

Fair enough, it could mean that. He's still insulting his own fanbase. I doubt though however, he is referring to what you say. I don't think he will be aware, or care, that theres parts of his fanbase who are against him supporting u2. And if he thinks a few phone lights in the air are justification for butchering Champagne Supernova then more fool him. Where's your pictures of the half empty Twickenham Noel? I really, really doubt that picture is of Noel's set. I would bet anything that picture is taken when U2 were on stage, which is what makes me think he's referring to Liam/his crew about "not getting" the U2 phenomenon (which by the way I don't get really but a lot of people do so... each to their own), and is more a dig at Liam constantly criticising him for supporting U2. The same way Liam has made fun of the "High Flying Birds" moniker in the past, Noel now uses ParkaMonkeys. And I'm pretty sure Liam has also criticised the fans before.. either "Beige fanboys" or something like that (my mind slips on this one). Looks pretty clear to be Noel. http://instagram.com/p/BakYce5Bvrt

To be referred to as a park monkey for not liking his new song? Yeah, thats quite insulting to someone who has bought all of his records and will continue to do so. Let's not pretend Holy Mountain is what Strawberry FIelds was for the Beatles. He hasnt gone from I wanna hold your hand to I Am The Walrus, he's gone from generic Noel to generic Noel with a bit of brass and a flute. To insinuate that if you dont get it you are a Manchester parka wearing hooligan who can't grasp new music is the kind of arrogance that is representative of the man he is at the moment, and where as Liam got everything right with his album cycle, Noel seems to be intent of the self destruct button at the minute. So, I take it that it did touch a nerve? Is it any different than when Liam calls anyone who doesn't like his music a Noel fanboy or beige boys. Liam has been winding up fans and vice versa on his Twitter for the better part of two years. I didn't hear you speaking up then, and I don't get the point of taking any moral high ground now. Imo that scenario is so completely different because he's responding to a troll that is wanting that response from Liam. Don't get me wrong, LG says really really insulting and inappropriate things about Noel and his family. However, I choose as an oasis fan not to take the "moral high ground" because it's not my battle. However, I will speak up for this because Noel is going after Liam/Oasis fans..the fans that made him so freaking rich that he's able to fund his solo career. I'd like to think that he's not that stupid to go after fans, maybe someone else posted it since it seems he doesn't post on his own twitter... but this comment isn't about just insulting Liam.. I'd love to go to his concert, but the price is double the price for Liam especially with the VIP bullshit packages taking any decent seating. An actually, they both need to stop. It's boring. Talk about music. But, This was really low for Noel. He needs to get his sanctimonious attitude adjusted and go back to playing music.

So, according to some on Instagram.. He's referencing this meme and Liam? Or is he insulting oasis fans? He can insult Liam all he wants but it's kinda obnoxious to go after fans that made him who he is..
