Serious question for some of you - does Noel's comments hurt you guys personally? Yes. Oasis has been a big part of my life. And Noel downgrades the experience. Probably it was my own mistake for idolatrising this two pricks and the band. But when one of them shits on half of the records, or tells me that I followed a band for years with a singer that could no longer sing, while he filled his pockets and buy big houses with our money... it hurts me somehow on a personal level. But man!! He is the artist that made it possible. You can not expect the feelings of a fan from the man who wrote and recorded the songs. I don't think S.King remembers Carrie as that cool story about a brave girl with telekinessia. He probably remembers the place where he wrote it, the beers he drank the night he ended it or a row he had with his wife for spend hours writing and not cleaning up the house. In that regard, the artist is not the right person to analyze his own work or to talk about it. Leave that to others and maybe you'll understand Noel's opinions a bit more.

Russell is a good bass player, does some good backing vocals, and adds some welcomed energy to the stage. In fact I think now Noel has the best band he has ever had, or the one that fits him best.

Looks like this time he reserved his songy tunes for the bonus (this one and god help us all). If the album is full out there they are going to be a welcome adition in the end. Specially for those who don't like this new side of Noel.

So he says «only if its mine is right» at the end? That changes the meaning then. I mean, it's not about how beatiful the world is but about having or not the beatiful things in the world.
Good work here Noel!!

Given that my first message was moved to play pen, I'll try again: It makes me sad to read soooo many negative opinions on Noel's new music. I can understand not to like the new songs too much. Hey, even I don't love them like his classic work. But some people hates them cos they aren't the same as always, other people hates them cos they are more of the same... And it's been similar in Liam's forum in other times. I mean, it's sad. Both brothers have music coming out, lots of concerts, Liam is riding a wave of popularity, Noel is doing what he wants to do (and he has earned it for sure), and some people does nothing but moan about everything. Enjoy music, enjoy life boys. It's shorter and harder than you think.

Ah men, it's getting tiresome now. I know it's a forum, everyone has his opinions et all. But it's starting to be disgusting to come here and see people with Liam avatars hating anything Noel does now. I can't fucking understand how you could enjoy Oasis cos you know what? he wrote all the fucking good songs there. For a lot of you the other songs were too much out there, now this one is poor cos it's "Noel by numbers". And it's been similar in Liam's forum in other times. I mean, it's sad. Both brothers have music coming out, lots of concerts, Liam is riding a wave of popularity, Noel is doing what he wants to do (and he has earned it for sure), and you fucking 21st century trolls, come here and moan about everything. Enjoy music, enjoy life boys. It's shorter and harder than you think.

Great song. Reminds me of Ballad of mighty I with a stronger chorus. Gem and Sharrock are a plus too.

It does really feel like Noel has run out of things to write about over the last few albums. Maybe it’s the stability he has now, just the songs are lacking a bit of meaningfulness. I’m a huge Noel fan and will stil enjoy the songs for what they are. At the risk of a N v L bashing, Liam’s songs (although not all lyrics by him and not lyrically amazing or anything) he is at least saying a bit more with things like “I’ve been crucified for just being alive” - which is powerful I feel the same. Part of my love for oasis songs was that you could in one way or another connect with the lyrics. So far, there's really nothing in his lyrics that I connect with... I like his new songs, but I'm with you both in that regard. His last song that had this kind of lyrical emotion is While the song remains the same, and is one of the most loved by fans from Chasing Yesterday. Anyway there is still a lot to discover in Who built the moon, hope it's good and has some good old Noel emotion on it!!

Very nice song. Two choruses, a cool groove, and good guitars and drums. The new chorus reminds me of The Police dunno why

The new one reminds me of this Real hero song from the Dive Ost.
And yes, the looks of Noel trying to do frontman things and the random people in the band are cringey but in a funny way. Looks like he doesn't give a fuck this time.

Kinda like this new one, has a good feeling to it. Problem again is that just goes nowhere and it's just too repetitive, which is worrying considering the studio version is apparently 5 minutes long. The new songs are remainding me of Paul's The Firemen albums: good, modern sounding songs, a bit repetitive in melodies and lyrics.
