Dead In The Water (Live at RTÉ 2FM Studios, Dublin) was apparently the b-side for Holy Mountain vinyl. Has anyone come across this yet?

I'm still in shock that we haven't heard the album version of It's a Beautiful World and She Taught Me How to Fly...

I'm curious as to when the session at RTÉ 2FM Studios took place. Was it during the last tour?

I'm glad we're getting to hear this tune. I had totally forgotten about it. Glad it didn't take on the hype of Stop the Clocks which totally ruined the song for many as they already had out sized expectations for what it was going to be. Hopefully this one will blow us all away as a surprise. I'm hoping we get a studio version sometime though as a fan of studio recordings. Small worry though.

Looks like this time he reserved his songy tunes for the bonus (this one and god help us all). If the album is full out there they are going to be a welcome adition in the end. Specially for those who don't like this new side of Noel.

I wonder what his intention was at the time randomly recording a new song he'd just written that was obviously not going to be aired.

...Presumably this session Great - Noel was on particularly fine form for that performance. I certainly prefer it to the album version.

Im still impressed that I had never heard of this tune until the album announcement. Mike Rowe mentioned it on the first ep of the Stage Left Podcast (which was recorded just prior to their March 2015 at Le Zenith in Paris). So aye, it's been floating around for over two years without so much as a whisper to its title or existence other than that brief reference.

I imagine this is going to have a very 'Riverman' feel to it.
Just a thought, but considering it's also acoustic as well, I imagine it will have been written around the same time.

I'd never heard of this either until the tracklist went up. Looking forward to hearing this and particularly looking forward to hearing 'God Help Us All' - I've always loved that tune. Hopefully has a straight forward sound to it and produced by Noel in the style if the last bunch of songs.

I dreamt I was in a record store last night, and I stumbled upon this CD single, and I was SO EXCITED to buy it and upload it for the forum (streaming only, of course!), but for whatever reason it cost $350 so I decided not to buy it 😬

Note to self: Read above posts before you post.
Mike Rowe mentioned this in the first episode of the StageLeft podcast. Looking forward to hear it.
