Sadly there's anti vaccine people who don't believe in it and will refuse to have it. I don't understand some people and why they would refuse the vaccine. I refuse to pity those who die as a result of being anti-vaccine. Dug their own moronic grave. Thing is, the demand will out-way supply, so those who reject the vaccine will basically pass the vaccines onto those who do, which is good. Honestly, forget those who reject it. I'm so glad I don't know anyone with the antivax attitude. Also, imagine being worried about a new vaccine, when this is a new virus
| Covid | Vaccine | Source | Unknown/Possibly a bat | Expert Scientists/Lab | Age | Less Than 12 Months | Less Than 12 Months | Deaths | 1.4 million so far | None so far | Short Term Severe Side Effects | Very common | None so far | Long Term Severe Side Effects | Too soon to tell | Too soon to tell |
People are idiots if they'd rather have Covid. The problem with anti-vaxxers is it's not just themselves they impact. There are people that legitimately cannot get the vaccine, and people being unvaccinated puts them at risk. That's why it's an issue. It isn't just, oh you don't believe in vaccines so you can take a chance at your own death, it impacts others....

Wow, this sounds really interesting. I simply love Noel's take on Don't Go Away and been looking forward to hear Blue Moon Rising live for some time, such a great tune. Is this real? Roll it Over? Don't Go Away? Idler's Dream? I would definitely pay to see this one. No this is an inside joke about a notorious user from years ago.

Thinking about how life-changing Where Did it All Go Wrong? would have been with those 2000-era Liam vocals. I absolutely love Where Did It All Go Wrong and it's one of my favourites from Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants. I think the song is perfect as it is with Noel on vocals to be honest. Don't understand why he hasn't done that live since he went solo. It's perfect for him, and is actually a rock song instead of all these acoustic strummers. And he could even do it like at Jools Holland if he wanted it to be acoustic.

Is this Noel's best solo song? I think so Nah it's good (one of the very few I like from WBTM) but for me his best is by far While the Song Remains the Same...

This is much better. I was still looking for something like the Classic Albums series were the artists goes track by track at the mixing desk and isolates different things and talks in detail, but this is at least something

Suprised no one voted for the true overall choice of The Shock of the Lightning. As a single, it was the lead, released towards the end of 2008 and embodies everything a lead single should be - catchy, enticing and for a rock single no less, boasting in pure confidence. Their most "balls to the wall" lead single since DYKWIM. Problem is the B-sides are all remixes

What does he mean, "we didn't perform that song for a long time because we couldn't get it right"? He looks like he's talking about a song that he'd written years ago, before "Definitely maybe", like "All around the world". They always performed it live as well, bar during the HC tour. He's talking about Wonderwall. They didn't perform it with the other WTSMG songs at festivals, and then not full band until later in the tour.

Here we go, a version of All Around the World that could have been a perfectly marketable single: Needs to be at least 30 minutes longer IMO

Liam's first gig after Covid-19 would be biblical gig. because His voice is great after a long break. early gigs in every tour, 2003, 2004 poole lighthouse, 2013 (after Gem's recovery), 2017. Other than the Brit Awards 2007.

What he should do, a specific gig for a video release with only his solo songs and HIS own songs from oasis. There is more than enough great songs from that catalog. It’s frustrating because the MTV gig would have been released on DVD I’m sure if it wasn’t for those publishing rights bullshit Also, Reading Festival 2017 is one of my favourite Liam solo gigs Liam's songs aren't gonna cause any of the general public to buy anymore than any of his solo songs. That's not a statement on their quality, necessarily. They just aren't the Oasis songs that cause sales.

Wrong. The 22nd Amendment sets the term limit as two 4-year elected terms (8 years total) or 10 years total if you ascend to the presidency. There is no such limit on the office of the Vice President. Therefore, you could serve two terms as elected President and then run as Vice President. If then the President left office early, the VP in this case could serve 2 years in office before being replaced using the normal line of succession (Speaker of the House, Cabinet members and so on). If that two year stretch ended in an election year, the VP that was President and became President again would not be able to run for re-election. No, you are wrong. In order to run for vice president, you have to be eligible to be President. Having already served two elected terms, Obama is not eligible. The 12th and 22nd amendment are what decides this. At the very best of this situation, you could call it unclear, because the courts have never ruled on it.

Biden will most likely step down and the V.P. will take office, that's why he needs to choose a strong candidate with a solid background in political corruption...that's the way we like 'em, here in the states wtf just happened these past six months. Not that it would ever happen, but could Biden pick Obama as his VP? Would be FAF if Barrack came back on the scene. No he could not.

Let's go over what Novak has done since this crisis to ruin his reputation:
-Promoting antivaxxing -Having a shaman on instagram and talking about how toxic water could be purified with good vibes -Missing the 400 player zoom call as president of player council and getting told to 'shut the fuck up' by lower ranked players because all he did was complain about his entourage not being able to come to the US Open -rganising an event in the middle of a pandemic that flaunted social distancing measures by not wearing masks, hugging and handshaking with fans/players -Predictably getting CV-19 for being an idiot, and crossing country lines before being tested. -Even now releasing a statement that he thought the virus had been "weakened" even though that's absolute bullshit.
He's probably gonna lose his stop as President of the APT Player Council. And he should

Novax and Jelena Djocovid are both positive for CoVid :-) Let's see now how scary this virus is. You just don't get it. With how fit Novak is it might be unlikely that he gets away without any severe complications. Although there are very real complications for young fit people, it's about the lack of social distancing towards everyone else. His hugging and handshaking and partying putting everyone else at risk, specifically the older people. When a fans who were there die, maybe you'll understand. Did you see that Drazen Petrovic's mother was right with Novak a couple of days ago? The tournament flaunted all health guidelines (no masks/social distancing), and you were happy with it, and then what anyone could've seen was gonna happen happened. It's not about shutting down our lives forever, it's about not being stupid. Minor inconveniences could've prevented this whole thing, but Novak doesn't believe in science, and now he's not only put his life in danger due to his idiotic views, but hundreds of other people.

So it turns out Novak is a moron. It's unfortunate, because I wanted him to end up with the most majors, but can't support him anymore. Just flouting his bullshit anti-science views to the detriment of everyone else.

I get that Noel was angry on the night, but I can’t understand why he just didn’t call it a Hiatus in 2009, instead of it being, supposedly, the end? Would have given him a nice way back in, and it’s a more tangible hope for the fans.... Because he didn't want to be in Oasis any more. He wanted to be solo.

"Stand By Me" always has been one of Oasis most popular tracks. I think it has a lot of views on youtube and it is also one of the most played Oasis tracks on radio. But why is it so popular? I never hear it talked about outside of this forum. I don't consider it as iconic a song as say: Rock N Roll Star (33m), Supersonic (63m), Cigarettes & Alcohol (30m), Slide Away (29m), Whatever (43m), Half the World Away (60m), Roll With It (27m), Some Might Say (39m), She's Electric (52m), Morning Glory (36m), The Masterplan (26m) ect. Yet it's one of 6 Oasis songs which have gotten over 100m plays (Live Forever, Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, Stop Crying Your Heart Out being the others). Now I don't consider Stop Crying Your Heart Out as being in the same class as those other 4 songs but I totally can see why it's as popular as it is as it has one of them big hooks like Little By Little (32m) and Lyla (18m). Which makes it all the more confusing as to why Stand By Me is so popular. To me it feels most comparable to Don't Go Away (51m), All Around the World (20m) and Stay Young (7m) but it far outstrips them all. The only thing I can think of as to why it's received as many plays as it has is that has overly sentimental feel to it that pop-chart listeners (ie. the majority of the casual listening public) seem to adore. Think Lewis Capaldi, Sam Smith etc. I'm not saying that Stand By Me sound like one of their songs but it has that same feel to it. The chorus lyric is especially that way inclined. The same could be said of Don't Go Away and Stop Crying Your Heart Out too I guess. I fail to believe it's that popular amongst out and out Oasis fans. I guess Oasis are one of those crossover bands which casual music listeners appeal to and this is one of those songs they gravitate to. Some of the Youtube plays might be because it shares a name with one of the most popular songs of all time.

Frustrates me so much as it could have been such a great album. 1-5 is so strong in my opinion, you add in Stop The Clocks, Record Machine and Come On Outside with Liam on vocals and you have a brilliant album. Just hope one day we get to hear them. I think Record Machine and Come On Outside would have really worked with the DOYS sound. Never been a big Stop The Clocks guy. Never dug the leaked demo from 2008 or the HFB version from 2011. Too clean on the latter. Weird pitch. I like the Zanibar version (fuck you lomax)and the 2010 demo. I’d have also included Boy With The Blues. Always enjoyed it. One of Liam’s best. Not sure where I’d put it on the album but it definitely deserved a seat at the big boy table and not the kiddie table on the bonus CD. I thought the FTTSOM Stop the Clocks demo was just the same one without the guitar solo at the end?
