What's the best single of the post 2000s crop? I would have to say TIOBI, brilliant singing from noel and a great upbeat turn for the band at the time.

Quite tough actually. Love SCYHO, one of my favourite they ever did. Though TIOBI and Falling Down are both classic too! Then theres GLIO.
It comes to it, Stop Crying Your Heart Out but it's VERRRY close
1. SCYHO 2. FD 3. TIOBI 4. GLIO 5. Songbird 6. TSOTL 7. IOT 8. THT 9. LTBL 10. WFL? 11. LDSMD 12. LBL 13. SMC

I absolutely loved The Importance Of Being Idle when it came out in 2005 and I STILL absolutely love it in 2013. Great tune.

Hard to say, but it would have to be one of these 3 for me:
Go Let It Out Songbird Lyla
Next up would be: Stop Crying Your Heart Out The Shock of the /Lightning
I voted for Songbird because it is utterly perfect and it is very much symbolic of the Oasis of 2000s. We hear more and more from Liam, Andy and Gem. Which for me was always exciting. I always looked forward to their contributions on album. I know some here disagree but I was rarely ever disappointed by the songs themselves.
(sometimes the particular version of the song chosen or the tracklisting, album/bside choice left something to be desired)
I'm also quite partial for LDSMD. I think it really would have done great during the live set. Glad Noel's finally played it live but I hope he keeps it as the opener in his next setlist.

Considering Andy's previous success with Ride and Hurricane #1, I considered his songwriting output in Oasis to be sub-standard. Sure Turn Up The Sun was great but that was really it. Maybe Noel was right, Andy kept writing Oasis and Rolling stone rip offs. I always wanted more from Andy. Heathen chemistry rolls around, the first album to feature Gem/Andy and the song featured on the album is "A Quick Peep"? Dear lord! Gem on the other hand really surprised me. He wrote many good album tracks (Hung In A Bad Place, Eyeball Tickler, A Bell Will Ring, To Be Where There Is Life). I commend him for that. Eyeball Tickler deserved placement on DBTT over TMOS.

A few years ago I would have said TIOBI hands down, but Falling Down has taken over these days. I guess my music taste is gradually changing as I get older.

I absolutely love/adore most of these tunes. its so hard to decide. a best of by Oasis with post 2000 singles could easily beat almost any post 2000 band.

Should have been on DBTT even if it doesn't replace TMOS. To me, TMOS sounded like a demo. Never dug the intended production of that tune.

I'll give you that the intended production of TMOS was pretty awful on the record, but the live versions were pretty great. And lyrically Eyeball Tickler is seriously lacking to the point of annoyance really.

Can't believe 'The Shock of the Lightning' has no votes. It's like a fine wine, it's even better now than it was back in '08 for me. I can't vote for it now though, I must of voted for something else back when the poll was started.

I can't believe that Falling Down has 8 votes, and Little By Little or Songbird only one. ('Who Feels Love' is really better? )

Shock of the Lightning.
Pure Rock and Roll plus the drumming towards the end of the track is fucking eargasmic
