He needs to sing this again, always suited his more thyroidy voice π

I forgot about that but it wasn't a bad performance to be honest. I've always liked Oasis's cover of My Generation too especially the live version with Zac Starkey on the drums.

I seen this on my recommended on YouTube and thought it was new.
Always loved this performance and itβs a delight to see it in proshot.

I seem to remember Liam saying in the Top Of The Pops Oasis special that My Generation was hard to sing. But yes, he does always nail it.

Does anyone know who's in the band playing that song with Liam?

Was this one of his first without in ears after Beady Eye?

Does anyone know who's in the band playing that song with Liam? It's The Who's touring band minus Daltry and Pete Townshend. Simon Townshend (guitar), Pino Palladino (bass), Billy Nicholls, John Coury, Frank Simes, Loren Gold and Zak Starkey (drums)

I indeed thought the guitar player looked like a younger Pete Townshend, that's no coincidence.

At the time we (I mean, me with Russian friends) claimed it was vocally mega after hard Beady Eye era, I loved so much that performance. Nowadays it sounds more like powerful good upgrade of BE vocals than amazing start of solo times, it's just very different comparing to 2017-2020. Good, not perfect. Nowadays he sings, not tryin' to shout like here... And something... different comparing to Beady Eye times. Better. And different. But yeah, it was a very good performance. Glad it was pro-shot in 2014!

this is one of Liam's best performances since 2002. The Top together with his best solo performances. I can't believe it's 2014 ... it was great!
