Well done to Liam he's done amazing. Just wish he went solo straight away and we didn't get Beady eye  I'm glad we had Beady Eye only for Outside My Room. Cant stop loving that tune. I did like a handful of songs but the rest was pretty awful. |

How do fourteen people listen to Holy Mountain and think "It's literally impossible for anything to be worse than this"? Seeing as I'm one of the 14, I'll give my reasons. I dislike the production, find the melodies to be very bland (the only hook I hear is Ricky-fucking-Martin ripoff), and it sounds like the direction a fledgling American band would take in order to get in the charts (Train, Maroon 5, etc. have done similar). Furthermore -- for him to mention this dross in the same breath as anything he wrote in the 90s is blasphemous -- much less saying it would've been massive in that time period. That era produced generation-defining bands with amazing music from all over the globe; comparing Holy Mountain to any of his 90s classics is a goddamn disgrace and makes me wonder if he's lost the plot completely. Now, before I get badgered, I don't want Noel to continue releasing IIHAG and TDOTL because he can write those in his sleep. I'm all for experimenting and going a different direction (still dying to hear the Amorphous Androgynous material), but I'm going to be thoroughly disappointed if that direction is a continuation of this single. Cheers! Stop it with that crap it sounds nothing like him. You are just jumping on the bandwagon. |

Why is the audio on the music video so low? It's like they know the mix is terrible  It's lower because it's less dynamically compressed. A lot of YouTube music videos are like that. Anyway, I thought everyone was complaining about how loud the song was?  You have to admit the mastering is terrible. |
