Absolutely! It’s why I love each album, because they aren’t bashing out the same songs with minor changes. I’d love to hear an Oasis album with both of their years of creative learning and expression at play. Now that would be good if they did come up with something like that but we don't know for sure if there will be another album yet. No, but I'm up for it if there will be. And I actually do hope there will be. I know people bang on about Liam's voice being shot, and I can't fully disagree, but I do disagree. We know he has Hashimoto's which he says affects his voice. That's fair, but I also feel that when he sings live, he strains his voice because he doesn't;t sing like he does on the albums. Instead he tries to fight the volume of the music/venue. And yet, he sounds amazing on all of his and the Oasis albums. So while Liam live can greatly depend on when on the tour you see him live, his voice on an album is always great. IMO. So I'd love to hear a new album penned by Noel, which two Noel sung tunes, and the rest by Liam.

Guns N Roses fans have been waiting for a reunion album since 2016. So we waited 15 years for the reunion... now we have to wait for the reunion album?! lol In fairness, I am personally in the came that this is just a reunion tour, and Liam has jumped the gun on "I am no longer a solo artist", unless he was meaning he will be moving forward with Squire from now on. But if they give us an album from this reunion, I'm down for it.

Can we be certain latter day Oasis and/or current Oasis won’t use autotune or anything similar to tweak Liam’s voice on studio releases? I hope not, as that inauthenticity destroys the magic.

However, there is some truth in him always sounding better when not having to make himself heard over tons of amplification. One performance a few people said was brilliant, and that to their ears not much was done to the recording, was MTV Unplugged at Hull.

Also the voice on the 94 MTV acoustic set was as good as it gets.

Guns N Roses fans have been waiting for a reunion album since 2016. I don't really see Oasis going that way. I believe we'll either be somehow informed that the tour is one and done or there will be at least one album. It doesn't really sound Oasis-like to just... sit there waiting for something else to happen. It might not be something official, maybe an interview etc. I don't know. Even solo releases will probably hint us that. And if I'm not mistaken gnr never really disbanded, it's just a reunion of the so called classic lineup. But I'm not so sure since I really dislike GNR

Also, I’m pretty sure the GNR song writer didn’t announce he had a defiant rock album in waiting. We have an album coming, I’m as sure about that as I was about Oasis reunion in the first place. It’s happening. Sadie, what do you reckon? Think it’s in the bag.

I wouldn't say I'm 100% certain but I don't know, I just can't see Noel agreeing to do this without doing something new

His final dream ticked off.

I feel almost certain we’ll see a new album. If I remember correctly hasn’t Noel specifically said he’s not interested in oasis being a legacy act? He’s been productive and happy exploring different directions with his last couple albums. He started the acoustic but nixed it which makes me think he decided it was a bit boring and maybe he wanted to go in the opposite direction. Also I don’t think someone just stops writing new songs after over 30 years. A lot of bands do just stop but they’re not singer/songwriter types like Noel. He’s more in the tradition of Dylan imo.

Guarantee there will not be a new album. This is a cash-in. Nothing more, nothing less.

I can't see it. Until there is an interview (there obviously will be pre-tour media flogging) we won't know. Liam talks shit on twitter more than I do.

While I admire the optimism, it’s probably time to come to terms with the (nature of?) reality:
There will be no new Oasis album for 2-3 years, minimum.
Tour 2025, time off, extended/European tour 2026, time off, then recording, if still getting along. See ya all in Spring 2027! (Which sucks, btw….)

Yea - any album they release would annihilate the charts. Then again, if that album is subpar (or not great because the media scrutiny is probably the highest it’s been since BHN) it’s going to take the luster off the nostalgia factor they’ve got working for them right now. The prudent approach, at least for them, is to milk every bit of cash from the touring (where they’re bound to make their most money) before remotely thinking about an album. Because ultimately the album sales are always going to be there.

Because ultimately the album sales are always going to be there. Every date of the tour is sold out. And all the next dates will be sold out the day after going on sale. They're not going to say a word about an album until tickets sales are over. But if they want to be number #1 in every country, including US, and go for huuuuuge sales, breaking records, the time for release an album is just before the start of the tour (june). Of course they could record another one in 2026-2027 if they still go on. And plans for 2026 with EU Tour and Knebworth, or whatever they have planned, will depend on how the Oasis'25 tour goes. If the tour goes well, they put on great great great shows...then in 2026 they could do whatever they want independent of the quality of the album. Just see Coldplay. Their last albums are bad (even being generous) but their next tour will be inmense!

I'm 90% confident of a new album from adding up all the Noel hints over the past year or so.
We know this much: About a year ago Noel told Matt Morgan that he'd written an album of stadium rock that was just lying around that he was doing nothing with. Then later he told Matt that it'd be fun to try and write an Oasis album. Then he said he scrapped the acoustic album. Then he said he was going to write a defiant rock album. Then before the reunion announcement he said he was struggling creatively and was closing the studio down - which we now know why. Before he closed the studio, he told the Weller podcast in May that he'd written a Jam style tune for a future album. This is the same podcast where he let slip about the Oasis reunion and the comment had to be edited out.
So no speculation in those comments, those are all facts/quotes by Noel. So it's not a stretch to read into those that a new album is imminent. No it's not guaranteed but I reckon it's pointing towards more likely than less likely. And after all, couple of months ago no one thought an Oasis reunion likely but here we are. No reason to think an album won't follow. Here's hoping.

I dunno, Noel would be 60 by then, I know he's in good knick but there might be a thought it would be better to release something pretty sharpish. I'm pretty sure they have been recording something, even if it's just a single or two.
