So if this is true, the tour is a one and done, and there will be no new Oasis album? No disrespect but Noel isn’t going to give a random fan a world exclusive about a new oasis album. Exactly why I didn't feel the question asking noel about it was even worth asking.

[..] How legit a source is has it leaked for news like this? Are they more likely to have insider info or be recycling old news? 🤔 100% likely to be recycling news from other places. HIL isn't very reliable and has repeatedly been called out by fandoms because of this, and that's probably why it was inactive for a while. I think the writing's on the wall and he's just guessing right based on that. Unless he got new sources the last two years, I would trust other any other insider. Presumably there must be some around here or on twitter too. Came here to post this. Has It Leaked has no insider info whatsoever. Zero. Never had, never will. Back when leaks were still a thing, the guy came up with a very useful site to notify subscribers when specific albums leaked. On his social media, all he does is simple engagement farming to drive people to his outlets. It’s the "broken clock being right twice a day" thing. Simple smokescreens and educated guesses. For those who followed other acts as well might remember when he exclusively could reveal a new Daft Punk album 5 years ago. And then in reality they split instead, lol. There are endless of examples. He had Arctic Monkeys' latest album "coming up" in 2019, 2020, 2021, and finally Q1-2022, Q2-2022... "Told you so!" Of course he said the release got "delayed" all the time. It never came out until Q4-2022. "But you heard it here first!" Funny how in interviews it became apparent it wasn't even written and recorded until mid-2021 anyway. Then, to save a bit of reputation, shortly before announcement he gambled on posting "heard the album, it's pure rock and roll" or whatever. This guy is so far away from the fire he must be cold. What he does is post about something plausible, like in this case an Oasis album, and then makes up a bit of easy fluff to make it seem like he's got the inside track. Something on the safe side you can't go wrong with, like the "there are 6 songs recorded" thing. If the album happens, he’ll crow about how "he told you so." If it doesn’t, he’ll claim, “I exclusively heard from the label that it fell through, but it could still happen someday.” Rinse, repeat. And, of course, people forget quickly and many online fall for it all over again. But if people just remembered this, that account would never be mentioned again any time a big release is coming up (or not at all).

Any album will be released after the tour. Just a lot of fake news about right now.

She Must Be One Of Us with Liam on vocals and Noels distortion pedal turned up to 11 would be a real summer banger

She Must Be One Of Us with Liam on vocals and Noels distortion pedal turned up to 11 would be a real summer banger Its a great song, but i doubt it would fit Liam's style, at least not modern Liam. Its a song for Noel. Too bad Noel shelved it, it would have sounded great on HFB 1.

I just listened to the demo of She Must Be One Of Us today. I have to say, it's pretty terrible for my taste. the Oasis songs with those simple and endless drum rhythms mixed with the desire to copy the Beatles are that part of them that I have never liked. Liam would elevate it to a better level, but the song itself is one of those pieces of crap that sounds like so many others, especially in HFB's discography. I hope it never gets released even as a b-side.

I feel like we won’t hear anything until the potential tour documentary comes. If the film is going to a major streamer like Netflix, it makes so much sense to tether a first single to the documentary (if I were making the doc it would be a combo of the reunion tour and them in the studio).

They don’t need to rush anything. A mega stadium tour completely sold out for 2025 with no real promo outside social media. No interviews, etc.
Oasis is gonna hawk the 30th anniversary edition of Morning Glory next year. Not announced but you know it’s gonna happen to some degree.
I also don’t want a new album and potential songs to penetrate the sets next summer. I want all bangers, all the time.
A new album would be a huge seller and streamer globally. I’d love for Noel to time this out perfectly to get a US #1, the one thing he said he’s yet to accomplish. Won’t be easy. Nerd a sleepy week/month to drop it all in.
