Jake Bugg setlist, in case anyone’s interested. I only know his first two albums but I really like him. Sometimes you can close your eyes and feel like you’re listening to Lee Mavers. Just my opinion…I know Noel’s compared him to Dylan and the Arctic Monkeys but I get a La’s/early Bee Gees feel from him.

Liam on top form last night. Voice was proper on point, sounded fresh and loud all night. Just wish it was longer, another album would definetly do. Jake Bugg was amazing too.

Berlin Dicka! Round about 1 p.m. I met some people in the pub dressed all up in Pretty Green, wearing bucket hats. Strong northern accent. I wondered what this lot might have been up for. The concert was brilliant. Have I ever seen Liam that relaxed and having fun at work? Squire = Legend. I was more than happy to find the Columbiahalle sold out finaly. View Oasis people, much more well aged music lovers. Belive it or not, people (4 or 5) older than me! My wife said, all concerts should be one hour long. You´re in bed at 11 p.m. Next: Dublin LGDM.

Great gig indeed! Loved Jake Bugg, too. I don't remember Liam ever singing this effortlessly whenever I saw him live - probably it helps that the gig was not overly loud and there's only John's guitar to sing over. Very happy that I went. Good songs, short and sweet gig, all about the music. Mars to Liverpool, One Day At A Time, I'm A Wheel and Love You Forever were highlights for me (and I don't even really dig the latter, but it works in a live setting). Squire really plays well, I love how he sprinkles the songs with the guitar bursts. Columbiahalle's lockers are still nightmarish, it takes an eternity to get your stuff back and that staircase is a trap. But I can easily get behind early gig finishes as well!

Thanks. Just missing the first track.
That was a great show, love that venue where the pit is small and you don't have to arrive super early to have a great view from anywhere. It does add a lot to the enjoyment to be a few meters away from the band, especially the legendary LS and Squire !
Now I did make sure I arrived early enough to catch Jake Bugg that I saw a couple of times in 2013 when he "broke out", including at Hyde Park in front of a massive crowd opening (with others) for the Stones. Sadly what looked like a very promising carrer at the time hasn't really panned out...He isn't exactly as whippet thin as he used to be but we all get older ;-) Anyway great set, especially considering he was completely solo. Definitely not your average opening act by an "unknown" artist that the record label/promoter are trying to push.
Impressive set by the main act of course, sure the singles stood out more, but all the tracks went down well I thought and you have to admire guys who just go out and play their entire latest album, who does that these days ?! Little Barrie was terrific on bass, busy (in a good way) and groovy. Nice keyboard layers too, the drummer was more "pedestrian".
On the downside, some wasted clowns found it amusing to toss plastic glasses on stage and at one point it looked like Liam was going to storm out...he did make a comment about the glasses that was lost on these years, I'll check the video to see if I can decipher it. He did try to interact a bit but I doubt anyone in attendance understand any of it ;-)

Liam's opinion about the Milano gig. Those who listened/were there, what do you reckon?

What time did Liam and John take the stage on these UK and Euro shows? Thanks. Can confirm 9:15 for UK, bit later than usual due to shorter set I guess
