Instead of this I'd rather we get a SOTSOG reissue with demos, outtakes, alt tracks, unreleased material, etc. Certainly not the best time for the band but a very interesting one at that. Well worth exploring. Agreed.

Very cool video, I like it For a lyric video, it's pretty cool but it would be better if they removed any and all traces of that cringey absurd official video they mustered up for Stop the Clocks. That video should be wiped off the Internet. Plus people who didn't see the official video in 2006 might wonder why there's a Japanese Liam wannabe in there. For Stop The Clocks, they should have remastered the version that came out for The Masterplan, which was awesome and captured the essence of both the band and the song. They couldn't have put the studio version over that video without additional editing (Whitey is playing differently, Noel has some additional solos and Liam's skipping the second verse) but still, it would have been better than the other one. That official Japanese video for Acquiesce must be Oasis's worst ever video as a band that is.

Well worth exploring. And release Let's All Make Believe as a single. Still a travesty all these years later that it got buried as a b-side. I agree with you as it's such a great song and it should've been much more than just a b.side.

All of these tracks were released on the DM, WTSMG, and BHN anniversary releases. SO we already have a remastered version of this album. Sure, to my knowledge I am the Walrus is a different track length, but other than that, all of the remastered tracks from these releases are the same as the originals, correct? Listen Up is edited on The Masterplan as well. But I’ll be surprised if they bother to go back and recreate the edits of Listen Up and Walrus. I assume they’ll simply copy and paste the remasters they did for the Chasing the Sun editions of the first three albums, which were all full-length. Interesting, I hadn’t realized that Listen Up was edited. Is it just shorter/longer, or was something else edited?

I really do hope that the Oasis management are reading this thread and see what the fans think of this pointless release.

I’ve got the 2009 vinyl with the green spine and Hamish McBain liner notes (loved those essays), the one that came some years after in 2015-17 somewhere, and the 10” vinyl box set. I don’t think I’ll pick this marble one up, unless I come across a cheap one. No need really.
I’d have loved a compilation, even digital playlist, of the best live versions of Oasis b-sides. Lots to choose from there. Maybe I should get on that.

Quite curious though.

You can read about it in Noel’s track-by-track interview with the NME from 1998, archived on davidjay’s excellent site: www.oasis-recordinginfo.co.uk/?page_id=1038

The Oasis management really need to get their fingers out and give us something worth buying and what we really want instead of the same re-releases like we've had recently. Enough suckers must be buying this repackaged stuff for them to keep releasing it. Not suckers… new fans. This album is 25 years old now. There’ll be new recent fans who weren’t even born when it came out. My teenage nephews are just starting to get into Oasis now through the obvious big songs. Looking forward to introducing them to this… 👴

I think anything from 2000 - 2009 would be interesting. A hell of a lot of stuff was recorded. I'm really hoping for a 2CD or even 3CD of demos for the DBTT 20th anniversary in 2025. Isn't Noel and the band on record as saying they recorded 30-40 songs? The Death In Vegas demos would be a killer bonus in a super deluxe edition. They could dedicate a whole disc to the 10+ different versions of STC! Make it happen Noel He did mention the DIV demos relatively recently. Keep burning incense and praying nightly to the reissue gods… 🙏
