Pitchfork is the King of the 7.6 review. Not too high to overly praise but not too low to offend and risk bands not talking to them. It’s weak sauce.

Listening to the entire album while working. Apart from the management has been lazy as always with re-issue and all that, this album has got brilliant songs like Listen Up, Rockin' Chair, (It's Good) To Be Free, Acquiesce, Talk Tonight and The Masterplan and they're all B-sides! That's a true beauty.

Currently being sold at auctionSomething I've not seen before. As you can see in the above image (on the left) is 'Alan McGee's Oasis b-sides compilation suggestions'. It's 12 songs listed in chronological order which I'll list below for posterity's sake (no doubt the image will disappear in the future): - Take Me Away - Alive [8 Track Demo] - Listen Up - Fade Away - (It's Good) To Be Free - Half the World Away - Talk Tonight - Acquiesce - Rockin' Chair - Round Are Way - The Masterplan - Stay Young Date: 22 Jan 1998

It should have been on the Masterplan instead of It's Good To Be Free, which I've never been a big fan of.

Edit: I think it dates to 1999. At least "Trashmonk" didn't release anything on Creation Records until then... www.discogs.com/artist/572545-Trashmonk

TMA feels a bit too plaintive, but maybe we can make it work. How are we tracking this?
