Hello, I noticed that on Oasis' socials that they added a small clip of The Masterplan video.... Maybe they are building up to something special? it will be 25 years since it came out soon (if I did my maths right)...
Would be nice with a chasing the sun kind of release, with a bonus disc of demos and what not.

Still can’t believe Round Are Way didn’t make it after they played it most of 1996 and giving it to A Life Less Ordinary. Also D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman, one of Noel's most affecting songs. With a whole host of great b-sides, I get that some would have to make way. But then you see The Swamp Song on there - what a pointless addition to what is largely a perfect record. |

Yeah, that's very true it's such a great b.side album but if they do decide to do something then they should add some extra b.sides to it as well like Round Are Way, D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman etc. |

There have been three social media posts in a row regarding The Masterplan, so it seems like an announcement is coming about it at some point. Probably the 25th anniversary overpriced old picture disc treatment.

is the the classic unreleased songs, remastered version, with new artwork...

Given the album itself was a B-side compilation, I doubt there'd be anything new that we've not heard before in any form (although would be happy to be proved wrong here) - may well be new live versions, polished up, but in any case, nice to see the anniversary being marked..that said, if they wanted some help of spreading the word, it'd help if the link to the assets in the mail worked (unless that's just for me...)  |

It would be so amazing to get a box set with all that era b-sides.... Extensive liner notes and booklet, live versions, etc... BUT, as usual, we'll get just another bloody remastered LP/Silver.
C´mon Noel!!! Give us a nice 25 anniversary edition!!!!

I never even bought the original Masterplan album. I never saw the point as I had all the b-sides on the singles.
Those who didn't have all the singles might have snapped the album up but if they wanted all the b-sides they still had to buy all the singles (I suspect the tracklist was carefully planned that way). The Masterplan album didn't help them save any money.
