Ryan is a talented guy; however that doesn’t necessarily equal quality. He’s neutered Hello. That tune thrives on energy and he’s sucked all the energy out of it.

That Hello clip sounds very Smiths-y. Interesting. I hope he does cover the whole album.
Ryan has been releasing a lot of stuff in the last few months: some of it is great, some is filler.
As a big fan before the scandal, I'm happy to see him back.

Ryan Adams covering one of my favourite albums, can’t wait for his take on it, although I may need to listen to hello a bit more to really get it. Hello may not best suit his style but there are other tracks on that album which will be more suitable. Always loved his cover of Wonderwall from the love is hell album, Adams is going to have to go some to top that!
Really enjoyed his Taylor Swift 1989 album and currently listening to him doing Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska, highly recommend the track Atlantic city, great stuff then he brings in the hip hop influenced drums for the last minute or so. The whole album is free to download on his website.

Does anyone know how he plans on releasing this? I don’t have Instagram so can’t play the clips but Ryan Adams is one of my favourite artists so cannot wait for this.
