Given how big Oasis were at the time I can't believe there isn't more footage from Air Studios and elsewhere. That was intended to be one song performed (It's Gettin' Better Man), but they ended up doing Be Here Now as well. Not sure there's that much more footage worth seeing apart from a couple of alternate takes? I'm not sure there has ever been anyone in the know to confirm if that was it or there was more? There must be more studio footage though? |

Why not get all of the original film and rescan it to create a beautiful HD video like with DYKWIM. Because it would be too much effort... These upscales don't look great. I agree, they are quite poor. Amateurish at best. |

It's not the end of the world.
If I remember correctly, the Knebworth gigs were announced on August 10th of last year, right? So wouldn't it be more likely that if they were going to release some content, I.E. Earl's Court, it would be announced on the 25th of September or one of the three dates?
Everyone wants content, and Oasis management is doing work on an album that's notoriously disliked by the person who wrote the damn thing.
We're starved, we've been burned by management in the past (hello, Be Here Now from Mustique), and getting cock-teased with new footage. I'm still holding my breath, but I need to breathe soon.

that BHN cover art shirt is some of the only decent merch i've seen this band's management come up with in years, though. too bad it already sold out. (i wouldn't have wanted unisex cut anyway, ffs let's get some women's shirts, but it's cool)
