I'm still shocked (but pleasantly surprised) Liam played The World's Not Set in Stone during his last tour at Cardiff 2019. It's a good tune. Maybe he will pull out Start Anew whenever he plays next. "The World's Not Set In Stone" is a killer tune! Also loved "Iz Rite" as well - sounded awesome at the Abbey Road acoustic gig back then.

I loved the acoustic gigs which Beady Eye did and the Abbey Road one was one of their best.

Would be cool if Beady Eye released a #1 compilation album like the The Beatles.

Would be cool if Beady Eye released a #1 compilation album like the The Beatles. So it wouldn't have any songs in it?

It's a shame that White Smoke was never officially released and was only used as Beady Eye's walk on stage music at their concerts.

Would be cool if Beady Eye released a #1 compilation album like the The Beatles. I think Best of compilation will be better idea. Plus remixes+instrumentals+ few demos. It worked for other musicians who didnβt have #1 singles

Maybe you aren't a fan of the material on the EPs but why were they badly thought out? I liked getting 9 new tracks over that calendar year. A year he was originally just going to take off and do nothing.

Ugh yeah their last release BE was a flop, not as much as flop as some badly written EPs (I read that whopping 3k vinyls of Blue moon rising EP were sold in a year), but still. They should write and release few new singles to rehabilitate themselves . If their quality will be just slightly above the average, the fans will be so delighted they donβt have to pretend liking Second Bite of the Apple anymore that they will call them 12/10 masterpieces. And after that this compilation album hopefully will a be success

I liked getting 9 new tracks over that calendar year. A year he was originally just going to take off and do nothing. They're not perfect, quite inconsistent but still far better than anything Beady Eye ever did. I'll never understand the clamour for anything Beady Eye. For all of Liam's solo success (owing to its quality songs more than anything) and Noel's solo success, Beady Eye really is the runt of the litter when it comes to all things Oasis.

Just another stepping stone for Liam...but the concerts kicked it out the park...fever pitch at the front.

I wouldn't say that BE was a complete flop, it might not have sold as well as Different Gear Still Speading even but it did make number 2 (number one in Scotland) I seem to remember. So a flop no.

Would never happen. But in a "fuck it" world/one off gig, i'd love see Beady Eye shred a sweaty show out in a venue for a reunion lol...

Would love to see it happen as Beady Eye making up Liam's live band. That way, the solo material is still there, AND the fans get Beady Eye, as well. To me, it makes sense. Plus, Liam said he likes being in a " Band" setting. So why not have it?

A shame the OP was banned/removed from the forum, he sure did give us a good laugh with his sincere posts about BE reunions and the like. I did enjoy the few BE gigs I attended but there is no clamour for any kind of reunion, either among any of the fans or the band members themselves. Both have moved on and as stated above, should be left to rest
