Soul Love is a good song.
Anyway, Beady Eye were a good live band but they are done and everyone in the band have moved on to other and better things.

Definitely not a full fledged reunion but maybe a one off would be cool as they are twice the musicians LG currently employs.

It seems like the majority here would be up for it. 👍
It just would be great for Beady Eye to show that the first time was affected by some bad luck and liam’s private issues

It seems like the majority here would be up for it. 👍 Does it? Not to my eyes. Gem and Chris are with High Flying Birds, Andy is working brilliant with Ride and as solo and Liam is settled as a solo singer. To renion Beady Eye is pointless and waste of time. |

Beady eye reunion would finally be the occasion for Liam
To sing the songs he’s written in Oasis and BDi. If only for that...
Shine a light, evil eye, better man, morning son, I’m outta time... so many to choose from.
Plus this time it would be with good vocals and not half arsed

Did anyone want Beady Eye in the first place? All I heard was people say that they would fail without Noel. It was a bad idea to begin with. I take nothing away from the band, they are decent guys and talented. But as soon as i heard the first single I knew it wouldn't work. Their first album was such a disappointment for me. Their next album was better but they just didn't click with a lot of people. Anyway it all worked out OK in the end as Liam is doing great, Gem and Chris reunited with Noel and Andy with Ride.

The excitement was there to be honest, but yeah wrong choice of first single. People were at least curious and the shows for the first tour I went to were oasis-y like although obviously smaller venues. But people did enjoy it. To me they started too early. They should have waited and start around 2013 or even 2014. Let people desire them. They came back a little over a year after oasis disbanded. I suppose there was some kind of competition with Noel to release stuff first. The records aren’t all bad really, compared to the state of the music today, they are even... good. What broke them is the obvious lack of envy Liam had during the second album tour, his poor vocals (which was also a problem in late oasis) and yeah gem’s injury. That injury killed the chance for that record to be heard. |

Take his current band/voice and re-record a best of album. Get a good producer in.
A few tunes would benefit from a bit of reworking in the studio but they had some decent songs.

You could just release the originals as a best of but I think Liam and the team he has now could improve them. Never going to happen though, not a serious post really. The songs I chose are just my favourite songs. Got them on a playlist and it's a good listen tbh. |

I don't think so. The truth is Beady Eye are over and done with and people don't want them to reform. There's no point whatsoever as Liam, Gem and Andy don't need to reform the band anyway. |

To be honest it makes me laugh to even start a thread for this in the first place. Honestly, Beady Eye would be the last band to reform because they didn't have a lot of success in the first place anyway. So why go through it all again, really. Half of Beady Eye is in High Flying Birds. Made me laugh how Noel called Liams band full of second rate indie players. Liam never once pushed the narrative that no one joined Noel after Oasis. Okay, Noel left but there was nothing to stop Andy, Gem and Chris going too. Gem would never admit it but i bet he loved writing songs and being at the forefront of a band making music rather than the souless session musician he's become now. |
