Noel being (deservingly) very kind to Alan "Well, it's just a cough" P.s. Is this the first time we hear the name of the guy on the cover?

Sounds like its got to #3. Im guessing thats its first time in the Top Three since 1996. Their legacy lives on.

On the Instagram Q&A with Noel today he said he’s only 1 phone call away from Oasis reuniting. Read into that what you will. I can't ever see that happening. Oasis are done and I think Noel maybe joking when he said that.

Noel being (deservingly) very kind to Alan damn, that guy's question in the beginning almost takes 1/4th of the whole video.

So far these fan questions are not too dumb, I feared worse when this Q&A was announced as when magazines do that with either Noel or Liam they always seem to select the naffest questions ("What's your favorite brand of cookies?").

Agree, but Noel's answers are a bit shit... he doesn't seem in the mood.

The questions are longer than Noel's answers.

I think one of the problems with doing it all the same day is that while it's three different videos we got (Return to Rockfield, track by track, Q&A) Noel would just feel he has already addressed the subject and move on quickly For instance, if you see the track by track it's clear he loves them all but is not a massive fan of Roll With It, yet still considers it a brilliant live song But if you're watching the Q&A first then he'll just sound a bit dismissive

I haven't listened to these latest questions and answers to be honest. But by the sounds of it I'm not missing much.

Round Are Way is such a racket of a great tune. More of a Be Here Now vibe to it but could have fitted on to Morning Glory. Probably in place of Hey Now.

These fan interview segments are fucking terrible. Dumb questions, and I have never been bored by Noel, but fuck me this is dull.

If I had to swap a song on Morning Glory, I'd put Underneath the Sky in the place of Hey Now.

I’m surprised (or maybe not surprised since he remixed it in 2005) that Noel doesn’t like the recording of “Cast No Shadow”. For me it’s one of their most unique sounding songs. Nothing in their catalogue comes close to it. A definite highlight of MG.

Cast No Shadow is one of the great Oasis recordings. The slide acoustic guitars, the harmonies, falsettos, the nimble and expert drumming (again, why the fuck did they let Alan White leave a few years later??) - all of it adds to the most dreamy song they ever recorded. I shit myself to think how bad it would have sounded if Dave Sardy produced it.

Sad to see how he now hates RA and compares him to some random girl in audience.

Sad to see how he now hates RA and compares him to some random girl in audience. That's far from hating Seriously tho, always thought Cast No Shadow was about Noel himself
