Yeah, agreed with that, The Masterplan and Let's All Make Believe were obvious mistakes, the rest of them didn't make much of a difference in the end I think Noel's got a point, although now you can have everything available through streaming services B-sides were special because they were made for the fans, those who bothered buying the singles and discovering stuff, it's obvious Listen Up or Headshrinker would've been great songs anyway, but there's something about them not being as well known as other stuff while keeping the same level of quality that makes them special And Oasis to these days still hold that reputation as a great b-sides band

Oasis’s 90s singles sold bucket loads and they opened sets with the b-sides. So those songs were very well known. They’re hardly hidden gems only known by uber-geek fans. X

I don't care if they are b-sides or a-sides, they're great songs

when I bought Wonderwall, put the single in the cd player and the last song came in.....
is it when I became MAD For It?
Oasis are a special band. no bands have come close regarding b-sides. he could never let us down (him included) and lyrics written in the sleeve. Class.
The Masterplan on Be Here Now? THIS is fucked up.

I always thought Some Might Say was the song that summed up Oasis, if one song could do that, glad to hear it from the man himself

It's nice to get these interviews with Noel, but Noel really made this anniversary all about himself.

The first question was a good one, and I definitely think Some Might Say would be a song that would be incredible coming out now. Fuck me I love that tune.

Yeah I always switch between Live Forever and Some Might Say as my favourite Oasis tune.
It was one of the songs that made me delve more into the band when I first heard it.

Noel's spot on about Some Might Say and Supersonic being the definitive sound of the band.
Nothing left to learn about Oasis after hearing them: the golden pop melodies, the blaring sound, Liam's vocal's, Noel's backing, the optimism with some sadness blended in and then the mix of daft and brilliant lyrics. Mega.

I'm probably not the first to point this out, but it's cool that two of Oasis's best and most iconic songs both have lines about standing in the rain.

Exactly. There's so many b.sides which either should've been singles or at least album tracks. The fact that they are b-sides is what makes Oasis so mentally brilliant, though True. I don't think that there's one Oasis b.side which I don't like. Even the weaker tracks like (It's Better) People for example I think is alright.

However the remixes from the Dig Out Your Soul aren't as good though. But they are remixes after all.

Just a simple reminder to everyone that what makes Some Might Say great is Liams vocal... especially right out the gate...

Well his vocals are just outstanding through the first four albums anyway. Some Might Say just has everything a number one single by a guitar band should have. An amazing chorus, an uplifting message, simple but genius.

I ordered the 25th anniversary cassette and my order seems to have been "received at Deutsche Post Mailtermal" on october 3, which is weird because I live in Spain. There hasn't been any changes in the status since then and I'm a bit worried. Anyone else experiencing someting similar? My order (vinyl + cassette) is in Germany since october 3 too (I'm in France). I think the order is sent from Germany for some reason. I'm not worried as yet...

On the Instagram Q&A with Noel today he said he’s only 1 phone call away from Oasis reuniting. Read into that what you will.
