I didn't really enjoyed it. It looks like a documentary about noel's big ego. A bit boring.

I thought it was really nice
Was the origin of the Wonderwall bit at the start of Hello known already and I'm fucking behind?

I didn't really enjoyed it. It looks like a documentary about noel's big ego. A bit boring. I mean he wrote the songs and it was just a 25-minute thing talking about the songs and how it was made. He says several times about how good Liam was at that point and the rest of the band. Liam and Bonehead had their interview a bit ago on the BBC show and while it was funny, it wasn't an insight into how the record was made because, as is highly documented, they spent most of the time getting pissed. That's not having a go at any of them. But this little thing was just a bit about the album coming together wasn't it? Liam doesn't have anything to do with Oasis' management anymore so it's no surprise he wasn't on it, as much as it would have been nice.

Because Noel is not in that photo? He has other photos with Noel there, and has answered before that he's good with everybody. I don't think it's a coincidence that he uploaded this picture today.. He must hate Guigsy too then

What's the point of talking about the BBC show? I just said that I found it boring. Do we learn anything from this documentary? Maybe, just a few things. Is it interesting? To me, it's not.

When Noel shows the wall he sat on playing Wonderwall I can hear Bonehead laughing at him from the other documentary.

Id love if the documentarte had the imput of Liam, Bonehead, Noel and Owen. Maybe someone can edit the YouTube Video with the bits from Rockfeld the studio in the farm to make it like Supersonic?

Personally, the "Return to Rockfield" video was worth it just to hear the backing tracks used under it as background music (I heard a no-vocal version of Don't Look Back in Anger, as well as the backing-only tracks of Roll With It and Some Might Say as well). Good stuff. Also, Noel -- have the balls to release the Monnow Valley recordings for the 30th of Definitely Maybe. I know they aren't up to snuff, but let's hear them anyway!

Oasis management still get part of Liam’s revenue (and other members too I assume) so I wouldn’t say that he has nothing to do with them.

I was hoping for a bit more of insights on tunes like Hey Now, Cast No Shadow and She's Electric...
But I found a few bits interesting enough

That was just the Noel show. Some nice little bits but really, no involvement from the others makes it pretty pointless.

Yeah, it's really no different to the stuff that was being said by everyone else on the BBC documentary which makes it a bit frustrating. I don't know what's worse, him going to go see where Queen recorded Bohemian Rhapsody or at the end when he says people are are still going to be talking about WTSMG for another 25 years and then leaves.

I rather enjoyed that.
Seemed like “old Noel” for a moment, especially with that “it’s all about the people” line which I first heard on the O-Zone in 1995!

Is it possible that tomorrows karaoke of "Some Might Sing" might be the original backing tracks without Liam's vocals? Thus... having the whole album in original instrumental form? We did hear some original backing tracks on the return to rockfield.
God I hope so. I hope someone is ready to rip the sound if it does happen. Heck, I think I'll be ready just in case.

People tend to exaggerate over Noel like he is Satan himself, it's just a mini documentary, if they had to brought only one guy to talk about the album of course it would be Noel cos he was the main songwriter. I wasn't expecting much so I'm not disappointed, yes they should have had Liam or at least Bonehead on it, but I'm fine with what it is, I wasn't expecting another Supersonic type thing anyway.

What a soulless documentary and celebration. This and nothing was the same thing.

What a soulless documentary and celebration. This and nothing was the same thing. I get not liking it or not finding it particularly exciting, but what's soulless about it? He seemed genuinely happy about going down memory lane for a bit to me, and he was much more relaxed than he's been in interviews lately. It's clear that as much as he's moved on and can't get on with Liam that record, its legacy and those times mean something to him

I wonder if Scott McLeod has been watching the new HD Wonderwall video and reminiscing about his Oasis days?
